    A good Warden guide?

Hey there, my only character is a Gaurdian. But since I'm returning after my long hiatus, I think a fresh new start is in place. There is (or was) rivalry between those two classes, since they acted out a lot of the same roles. But the Warden seems to be a multi-tasker and I can live with that :-) plus the gambit system is just too much fun! (I've played once before to level 15 I think.)

So could any of you guys reccomend a good class guide thread for the Warden? I like to be prepared and I don't want to make silly mistakes hehe :-)

I would very much like to know what kind of guides are out there too. I've played up to lv46 with a group and decided that aggro was the most important thing right then.

There are no stupid questions. Just be sure to think your questions through.

There used to be a couple that gave you overviews and ideas, the basics are still relevent but on the whole they are outdated. You are a guard so you at least know the basics of tanking. The best guide is to play through the levels just remember to learn the masteries and stances when you get them. The last advice is to guilt your friends into grouping with you so you know what you are doing when you get to end game, also remember to have a plan for your rotations in advance and that you will have trouble switching once you have started a gambit.

    Re: A good Warden guide?

I only recently got my Warden to endgame and didn't have much need for a guide before that (I was just soloing before or grouping with kin, which meant there were always level-capped players around that made any attempt at tanking futile ).

When I started looking, I couldn't find any up-to-date guides for the warden, and the ones that were made before U6 aren't really all that helpful any more, since I alot changed since then. I did end up finding loads of information in this very forum though. Try scrolling through the posts of the last few weeks/months, you will find many asking advice for new and returned wardens that will give you a good overview of what the class is about and some helpful hints and tricks .

    Re: A good Warden guide?

Most important thing to remember when levelling is do not forget your class deeds , make sure every time you login you get the daily limit of all those available.

if it means 10 -15 mins of killing stuff with not the most appropriate gambit so be it, but when you get into 50's all should be complete and it will make your life much easier, its actually easier now since you don't need to morale surf to use Dark before the Dawn

Secondly get your Key Mapping sorted to what you are most happy with , now Masteries are available much earlier , you should not have to totally relearn the ways of building gambits as I did when they became available at later levels.
