Thread: New(ish) Player Looking for Kin

Greetings, Brandywinians!

I'm a relatively new player to LOTRO (bit over a month), though not to MMOs in general, and have finally settled on a Minstrel to try to get to cap, and having a blast with it.
Now I'm looking for a Kinship to make the experience more enjoyable. I'm over 35, and my play time can be...interesting. Usually some mornings/afternoons and late nights are when I am on most often, sometimes during regular evening hours, but RL tends to eat that time up fast. I'm looking for a few specific things in a prospective Kin to join, mostly based on things I enjoy in game:

I am an RPer, though mainly tabletop games. I don't mind a bit of RP in MMOs, but am very casual about it, so while RP friendly is ideal, I am not really looking for a hardcore RP Kinship.
I enjoy a bit of everything, game play wise, and can have serious alt-itis though I'm keeping that under control here so far. I craft, I fish, I explore, grind deeds, play music, quest, and in other games have enjoyed PvP, so am looking to try out PvMP here, though have not really looked at it yet. I have not had a chance to do anything instance/dungeon wise in LOTRO yet, so am curious to try that out. Hopefully with folks who don't explode about a newb not knowing how things work the first time around. <grins>
My main thing for a kin is size and how social it is. I might love soloing as far as questing and stuff goes, but I enjoy grouping for dungeons (rather, I have in other games), and love reading/chatting in the background with folks while I am doing things. So ideally, I'm looking for a Kin that has an active group, hopefully with folks who are on most hours (I myself, am in the US, EST time zone), and who are actively social.
