    Really Necessary?

Look I don't mind being zerged as a solo anywhere else on the map. But if I'm up on CM at least have the balls to 1v1 me.

Negative. Why would I ruin the thing that I most enjoy about the Moors?

Only other thing I can think of is you were playing "AFK at CM" card. I dunno. not really an excuse but some people will say that AFK up there is not sanctuary. Part of the reason I stay away now. too many politics

You chased a solo champion to CM (where I was going anyway I might add) and then zerged him. Well done.

Yes, simply running onto CM does not make you immune.

I was halfway up the hill when one of you first decided to attack me, I was oblivious of your presence until then.

What you're basically saying is that you reserve the right to zerg any freep that you see running onto CM. Why don't you just sit at the bottom when people are having 1v1s and farm some easy infamy then?

I'm not asking that you stop zerging solos because that's pointless. Can you not just leave ONE AREA of the map free of your ridiculous tirade?

Was it so difficult to just 1v1 me up there? I would have lost anyway but at least it would have been a reasonable fight.

Thumbs down Re: Re: Really Necessary?

Open up your character screen and check to see how much renown you have, but before you do read what the box says. It says The War. You expect to win this war by yourself? Join a raid and PvP the way it was supposed to be. From this thread

I gathered I should transfer my Defiler to your server. But you're telling me you guys have an AFK zone? Mathematically, raiding will get you renown and commendations faster and more frequently. Raid on raid is what the developers of PvP had in mind when they produced it. Join a raid and stop soloing or suffer the satisfying consequences. I wish I was there, I would have brought more wargs.

    For my part I apologise;

I just mappped GTR, saw you, dismounted and chased on up to CM. I didn't know right away I had friends with me but I didn't back off either.

I guess the reason I felt lame after, was probably because it was lame?

And raiders wonder why solos don't use CM anymore?

I would say don't transfer here unless you understand that's not the way E works. Just because you like to raid doesn't give a license to disrespect others' playstyles. CM is an established 1v1 area. As you can see it's not always perfect and disagreements happen, but the community respects it.

You are free to play the game any way you choose, of course. But if you choose to not agree to the community standards then you suffer the consequences of not being part of the community. If you come here with a mentality that you will ignore what makes this server different than the others, there's no point choosing E, you might as well choose any random server.

Many transfers have come here with the wrong selfish mindset and found themselves on most peoples' ignore, so went away lonely. But many have transferred here wanting to be part of E and made it better. Hope you decide to be part of something special.

Some people like raid v raid. Some like small groups. Some like 1 v 1's.

You have a whole map to fight on however you see fit. Leave CM to the people who want 1 v 1's. I suck at 1 v 1's, but sometimes it's fun to go up there and watch the people who are actually good it do their thing.

The moors is also generally not the ideal place for role-playing, keep that in mind.

A few things: It's not an "afk zone", it's generally accepted across multiple for 1v1s because it is an obscure enough location that it would rarely be used for anything else. Also the moors is an open pvp zone and as such is subject to a variety of playstyles regardless of the dev's original intent
