    Why Might?

    I understand on what might does for a capt but I said why might when most tact mastery stuff is on Will, light amour stuff. Maybe turbine can add more Might and tact stuff for capts.

    Yep, there's plenty of ways to score tactical mastery without using any Will items or light armor. Outgoing healing currently maxes out around 27000 or so tactical mastery, which is very attainable with the current gear out there. If you figure 2000 might for a decently geared captain plus set bonuses, relics, and other straight tactical mastery sources, it's not too daunting a figure.

    I guess the problem as always is that putting tactical mastery on any might/agility things makes them Captain exclusives. And since captains can pretty much use each and every single stat out there, we are already advantaged as it is.

    Mastery is not optimal on items anyway. For example on a skirmish raid piece you can get for the same "cost":
    328 tactical or physical mastery
    31 might
    328 crit rating or b/p/e
    162 morale
    664 tactical/physical mitigation
    etc. ...

    Since 31 might gives both 310 tacical AND physical mastery, PLUS mitigation and defenses, going for 328 tatical OR physical mastery on items is not very efficient. All the other things like crit rating are harder to get from raw stats than mastery, and thus more beneficial.

    Dont stac tactical mastery ( cause in main part it only improves your heals), try to get might + crit + some agility(cause of hit). Why cause 1 might = 10 tac mastery and 10 phisical master, crit improves your damage and your heals (much more with Restless Optimism traited) , more crit = more chance to get battle readied = more ralling cry and more war cry..

    Before RoI, we got outgoing healing (one of the for-runners of Tactical Mastery) from Will...

    Captain gearing was a mess.

    Yeah, I think the only thing that made pre-RoI Captain gearing workable at all was the stat caps, and even then it caused problems. Under the capless paradigm... Oy, going back to two stats would be an absolute nightmare.

    Ceremony, there is a lot of gear at the endgame for Captains that give both Might and Tactical Mastery. So don't worry, it'll come to you.

    im a little late to this party...

    anyway, just want to throw my opinion in the mix: they need to revisit all the crafted gear.

    there is still so much heavy armor with will on it. no one needs that while leveling! yea, im speaking for all heavy users, including you

    It woudn't be a bad idea to go back and update the older Captain gear to better compensate for the newer changes. So I agree with you on that.
