    The Road Goes Ever On...

Well, here we go! My first screenshot is of the Barrow Downs in Bree-Land. In this light as the sun sets, it looks almost...beautiful. Lucky there weren't any wights around. :P

And here's another, this time later at night and with a Stonehenge-y looking formation in it.

I was running quests at Nen Harn, bashing snapper turtles and the like, when I turned around to face the water and saw this. Not bad, if I do say so myself. I'm using it as a wallpaper right now.

For some reason, one of my favorite things about LOTRO is the bodies of water that they've designed. Which is probably why I can't wait to head down to the Anduin and am secretly hoping that the devs will make a Lindon expansion. heh. Anyway, while taking a shortcut near Bywater, I found this lovely spot.

This, by far, is my favorite screenshot ever. I hate to brag, but I absolutely love it and think it's one of the best I've ever taken (and I have a lot stored on my computer). I took this today, while running quests for the Forsaken Inn and hunting those annoying Yellowfang wolves. I've seen it before, but never really appreciated its beauty. They call it Amon Sul, the Hill of the Wind...

    Behold, Weathertop!

Lots of Lone-Lands themed pics lately and you can definitely expect that for some time. My character's chugging away at Level 20 in the Lone-Lands, so I've been taking screenshots wherever I go.

Today's is a lovely scene along the border of Lone-Lands. The Midgewater Pass flows by, headed towards the Marshes in the distance. Lots of green in this one, not usually something you see in the Lone-Lands.

A few days ago, I posted a pic of Weathertop from far away. Well, here it is up close and personal. The actual top of Weathertop.

And then the view from Weathertop.

Everyone has a favorite region. Mine is Evendim. I used to have a Hunter that I got up to 34 before I deleted him and running around Evendim was the most fun I'd ever had with that class. Anyway, here's a shot I took of Tyl Annun, the island where the palace of Ost Elendil sits. I love this shot, very blue and majestic.

Lots of water shots from yours truly! They're just so beautiful and tranquil. Of course, this one is practically surrounded by the White Hand, so the tranquility is slightly diminished. Midgewater Pass in the Lone-Lands at sunset.

I love your pictures, especially the Evendim one. Although I have not been to the region yet myself. Keep them coming!

Thanks, Jmorin! I'll definitely be posting more and I hope you get to Evendim soon, it's a beautiful region. Today's shot is the view of the river from the Trestlespan in the North Downs with a waterfall cascading into the river.

The Lone-Lands are ravaged by White Hand and Tarkip orcs and it's up to us to get 'em out. Today's screenshot is one of their many encampments, but it's a little oddly placed. Or at least I think so. Bleakrift at the end of the Midgewater Pass. It's kind of pretty with the bridge and the waterfall and the blue water...at least until an orc comes out of nowhere. :P

While running around the Shire as a chicken, I stopped to look over Frogmorton and saw this. The Brandywine runs in the background and the sky is a perfect blue. Gotta love the Shire! Also, thanks for 500 views!

Another Shire picture, just because. This one isn't really of a particular place, just the rolling hills and farmlands that the Shire is famous for, with Frogmorton in the background. It's also my current screensaver, feel free to use any of these for screensavers if you'd like.

They're beautiful, the Shire really does get some great skies. To the OP, keep them coming, I like the Evendim one the best (I like all of Evendim).

Wow, been a while since I last posted! Life got in the way, but it seems like people are still interested in this thread. Thanks for all the positive feedback! Today's shot is the view from Thorenhad, the camp of the sons of Elrond in the Trollshaws.

The road from Bree to the Lone-Lands is a long and mostly pretty boring horse ride. Unless, of course, you happen to look out onto the Midgewater Marshes at the right time of day. The Marshes at dawn, with the Marshwater Fort in the distance.

Here we have an inlet along the Brunien, the water looking clear and the whole scene looking enchanting and magical. Probably touched by the Elves of Rivendell...sigh. Anyway, thanks for over 1k views!

    Thumbs up

I love watching and shooting the scenery! In fact the only time I fell off into the abyss in Moria (aside from getting kicked by an instance mob or jumping deliberately) was when I didn't watch my step trying to take a pic of my main on the Endless Stair

Shame I missed this thread before. Thank you for posting and please keep them coming
    Please fix the lag/memory leak
