Suggestion for a hobby. (Not sure where I should put a suggestion about a hobby)

This hobby that I have in mind is a lot like crafting and those who I have talking with think that it is a good idea, so i am going to post it.

My hobby idea is artist or painter.
This hobby would allow a player with the right supplies and with the permission of another player to paint that player's potriat or to paint a self potriat of the player himself/herself. Or you with a higher enough skill in the hobby could paint landscapes, animals, or monsters. And when the painting is done you could ahng in on a wall in your house, sell it, or give it to someone. Someone like the player you might have just finished painting the potriat of.

Excellent idea. I really like it.
I also heard about collecting rare butterflies and other insects, hunting a game animals and collecting a rare gems and minerals.

    Heck yes!

I have also thought about painting or sculpting as a hobby. Collecting would be a good one also.

With all the RoR buzz going around, I've started thinking that horse racing would be an amazing hobby (or perhaps festival activity, as it would almost have to be instanced to work). Not just racing around the track, mind you, but literally racing across regions.

Lower levels could race from, say, Thorin's Gate to Bree. Mid-levels could go further, higher levels all the way to Isengard or something. But like I said it'd need to be instanced. No fast horses/mount speed boosts, no fast travel, fixed checkpoints and the whole ball of wax. No mobs would help too, lol.

Just an idea! But having just maxed my fishing I've been thinking another hobby would be a rather welcome diversion during my downtime.

As an artist in real life, I wholeheartedly approve of artistry being a hobby. =)
