Thread: Raise the Spirit

The blade may wound
And fang may tear,
But keep your spirits high!
For the fight goes on,
Against all odds,
'Tis not our time to die.

Hehe, rather bored ATM so I'm making up little songs for our healing skills to match their potency... enjoy!

Bolster courage:

The battle rages
And spirits fade
And time does take its toll.
But against the odds
Our foes shall fall
While we still linger on.

Hope long did last

Luthien, the elven maid,
Child of Thingol,

Turambar, the dragon-helm,
Beleg the bow so strong.
Earendil, the Halfelven
And Durin King of Stone.

That we can rival them.

Soliquoly of Spirit: (I have no idea how to spell it)

By firesides, in Western lands,
The little folk do dwell.
And innocence is in their hearts,
That no evil force can quell.

For innocence sake,
The fight goes on;
The good folk shall endure.
Our efforts work,
For greater good,
Of folk so far away.

Really nice songs that bring out the Tolkien flavor of the minstrel. I think this is missing from the gameplay. Something about screaming and hitting my cowbell doesn't have the same effect to me as reading some Tokien-esque poems like these. Power and magic in the books are so much more subtle than it is in game...oh well.

If someone were really ambitious, they'd make a plugin that would play a randomized set of these songs either above my head or in a separate text window as I heal
