    Re: Help Me

check in your inventory you should have a page telling what you need to do to complete the quest. the quest giver should also have told you what you need to do but you should also be able to see this in the quest journal

the bronze buckler and bronze armour can be made by the metalsmith (armorer?) profession

for this you will need bronze ingots (copper and tin)
youll also need to find out which other componets are required to make these items

I don't believe the crafting quest requires you to craft the item just to collect the items and deliver them to a certain npc. Find another player who could craft the items for you and then finish the quest.

    Re: Help Me

yes, you have to craft the bronze armour and the bronze buckler. you will have to craft the components aswell.
You can see your crafting professions in the craft window, to access it click the anvil icon in the bottom left of the screen.

Also, you can check http://www.lotro-wiki.com for information and to help you solve problems like this.

    Re: Help Me

the items have to be crafted, if this is a profession crafting quest taken from your profession trader then you should beable to craft the item your self

but you can either buy the item from the AH or ask other players to make them for you

    Re: Help Me

At one time these crafting quests were open to all players.
After a while they were changed to only available to that crafter

You can craft them yourself using the Metalsmith Craft
Or you can look on the AH or ask someone to craft them for you

All you need are the Ingots, Tools and Forge

You don't need to go to Bree or use journeyman mats.

What they are asking you to craft is in your recipe list

    1. Mine some copper and tin ore, using your mining pick ........ you can find it in all the starter areas - The Shire, Celondim, Thorins Gate, Combe, Staddle...

    2. Find a forge (most towns will have one in the craft area), and press "T" - this will bring up your crafting panel, at the top pick Prospector then find the recipe for copper ingots and click on it, on the right at the top it will tell you what tool you need and what facility, in this case a forge. It will be in green if you meet the requirements and red if you don't. At the bottom push make one or make all. Repeat for Tin Ingots, then combine those to make Bronze ingots.

    3. Switch to Metalsmith at the top and find the recipes for what you're wanting to make and click them, etc.............

    4. Turn in items.

    Re: Help Me

you may had been making the same mistake I have seen some others making, that is going to the Oven and not the Forge to try and use the prospecting and/or metal smith skill.
you also need to have the Prospecting tool equipped to do the Smelting.

You'll need to find a Forge, and turn the Ore into Ingots , then equip the Hammer, and use the recipes to create your Buckler and Armor

ETA: ahh I'm slow and there is a better reply just before me by Unique
