Thread: Traits for VIPs only ??

I just recently purchased two traits, but noticed my stats were not updated. Is this for VIPs only? thx

Have you actually slotted traits in the slots you have unlocked? If so, you should get all benefits, VIP or no.

To clarify, VIPs and former VIP characters get all slots unlocked by default. Everyone else can unlock the slots with TP and once you do, they are no different from any others.

thats all ViP characters which have entered the game world while ViP, chracters which have not entered the game world do not get this benefit

it depends whether youve purchased the trait or trait slot.
if youve purchased the trait you need to visit a bard and slot the trait, f2p can unlock extra trait slots upto the maximum ViP get but you can not purchase more than the max, the extra slots should unlock as soon as you purchase them although you may need to exit the game and re-enter

I'm pretty sure I did it correctly. I dragged the virtue trait icons over to the left side of the panel and then I hit confirm below and payed the few copper required. I checked my stats before and after and noticed no change to virtue or fate.

I dunno. Is there a panel you can pull up in game to verify the traits are in place? (not just the interface with the bard)

The default key is J.

Your stats will actually change as soon as you put the trait in the slot on the left side of the UI, even before you click confirm and pay the copper. So if you're comparing them to just before and just after you clicked confirm, they won't be any different since you already have the bonus for the slotted trait. While you're at the bard you can actively change your traits and see the effects on your character sheet without paying any money till you're done.
