On Maiar, the shop is broken, you only get the message: Your Shop Session has timed out. Gwaihir and Vanyar aren't any better. Do French or US players have similar issues?
Is there information about this problem? *just wondering*
Treebeard: You must understand, young Hobbit, it takes a long time to say anything in Old Entish. And we never say anything unless it is worth taking a long time to say.
There is no access to the Store here, on Laurelin, either. Just the same message "Your Store session has been timed out" Another bug? or Turbine just havent bothered to let us know they intended to do some work on the Store?
Shop is down because Turbine have not paid there domain bill. No one can log into DDO at all, no website, no shop if you are logged in.
Sounds plausible. There used to be an issue in LOTRO every year where we couldn't log in because Turbine didn't renew their site certificates, or something like that. Haven't seen it happen in a while, though. And when you go to www.ddo.com there is that "renew now" link, after all.
Well when the shop is down you don't earn TP in game either. So it makes it kinda pointless to play if you are going to be finishing deeds you will never get the TP for. I saw this earlier this year and Turbine basically said they would not credit TP earned but not credited when the shop was down.
Oh well I need to do housework this morning.
Can anyone confirm this? I earned about 80TP from deeds today until I saw someone on GLFF mention it. I don't even know when the shop stopped working as I try to ignore it as much as possible.
I made a ticket about this but the GM wouldn't or couldn't clarify and just gave me a canned response.
Turbine never forgotten to pay their doman bill. They have twice forgotten to renew one or more of their security certificates resulting in all kind of https errors.

Turbine must have forgotten to renew it. Some of these domains are only redirects. I believe the official AC home site is: http://ac.turbine.com/
which is part of the Turbine domain.
It does not surprise me that Turbine forgot to renew some of their domains. This is the kind of mistake a personal business with one employee (the owner) makes because the owner is not tech savvy. The owner is an expert in their line of work. Turbine has F grade practices within their IT department in this area. How can you forgot to renew a security certificate, domain or anything else when you got a real IT department? Make this same mistake multiple times over a several year period.

Seems Turbine has addressed the issue according to their Facebook Page, "We've resolved the earlier issues with the LOTRO store. You may need to flush your DNS cache score it is available to you. If you have changed your host file, please undo the change as his may cause the store to become unavailable to you again until you do so. We apologize for the inconvenience." https://www.facebook.com/LOTRO
