Thread: Lottery of Angrenost, Missing items?

On the 13th I won the lottery of Angrenost, I dont really remember checking it to see what all was in the lottery, but when i checked the mail there wasnt any Cracked Rhi Helvareh Sigil included ,
As far as i can remember every Angernost drawing has the Sigil , Am I mistaken or should I submit a bug ticket?

I'm pretty sure you are mistaken. I'm pretty sure that the sigil doesn't come with every Lottery of Angrenost. I've won several, but never one with the sigil.

I also entered the lotto and remember there being x2 Cracked Rhi Helvarch Sigils as a prize.

Guess 13 is your unlucky number. However try to submit a ticket. The worst that can happen is no answer or hearing that you won't get a sigil. Best scenario would be getting the sigils.

Seems an obvious choice for me. No risk from a negative result and gain from a positive result with a ticket submitted.

EDIT: Guess I (and likely others too) should start screenshotting more things. FAQs, lotteries ... It would provide better grounds for tickets about changes or lacking items. That said, I got a mail for winning a worn symbol of the elder king in the lottery a while back. The weird thing is that according to my.lotro I never won that lottery, so finding it in my mail came as quite the surprise to me.

There was one a few days ago with some relics, some seals, and a few odd accelerator tomes. No sigil.

I definitely agree that this lottery doesn't always (maybe less than half the time) include cracked sigils. I am fairly certain, however, I won a lottery where the sigil was included and I did not get a/(the) sigil(s). It's difficult to be 100% certain on these things since the last time you see the prizes is before you enter. I am still not OCD enough to jot down or screen cap the entries, but I'm getting there.

This particular lottery is one of the mystery lottos. Turbine changes the contents frequently. You have to look at what the current Angrenost is paying out before you enter.

Since the lottery is one of the Beta web features, it operates as is without support. You have any problems like can't enter. Did not get your prizes. You have to accept it. Hope for a better result the next time.

The items included in any lottery may change. You have to check the list if you want to be sure.

Today's lottery did include 2x Cracked Rhi. Dunno about the previous one.

Everyone has already acknowledged that, but that doesn't alter the OP's findings. Since, without manual, external recordation, there is no way to prove the lottery ever included any given item, you cannot confirm after you've won that you have received your items.

Not gonna lose sleep over it, but I am pretty dang sure I did win a lottery that included sigils and I got a colleciton of items not including sigils. I believe this is what the OP refers to.

I won the Lottery of Angrenost on the 13th. Did not receive the sigils, but didn't really pay attention to the posting that day as to whether they were included. Would have liked to have them, for sure. But hey, anything free is really a bonus, isn't it?

Entered today's, which clearly does specify x2 sigils. Here's hoping!

My main also won on the 13th. The package came with some gold, a few seals, some +xp% scrolls, and +skirmishmark% scrolls. I received no sigils either, so I am willing to bet that they were not part of this day's lottery.

On a side note, does anyone know if the +25% skirmish mark scrolls stack with the +50% skirmish mark buff that the instance finder provides? When moving the scrolls to my bank, I accidentally clicked one, decided to run some skirmishes so as not to waste it, and didn't really notice a tremendous difference compared to the marks I usually get. Of course I didn't stick around to thoroughly test it out, but it is an idle curiosity at best.

As people has already mentioned, the 'Lottery of Angrenost' does not always contain the same prizes.

And as I (and I think the OP) has/have already mentioned, of that (we are) aware. That is not the issue being discussed.

The lottery messes up sometimes, nothing you can do - I know, I've filed tickets with CS, which tells you to file a bug report, and there it ends.

So don't count on it. For a long time, i couldn't enter lotteries at all, and mylotro is pretty messed up as well. Still happens quite often.

I look at it as fun bonus items, not something to count on - I'm pretty sure it's part of the perpetual beta that is the web site.

The logical improvement would be for the winners log to show the prize list. Several people have made this suggestion. Turbine stopped extending, fixing and maintaining the web services in the summer of 2011. They never bothered to fix all the migration issues from the takeover of the EU servers.

I do not have any reasonable expectation that Turbine will fix issues like crafting in signatures broke since February, 2011 or all the other problems especially with former Codemasters accounts. Let alone add new working functionality.
