Thread: PVPers on withy are too eliteist!

Not related to the weird avatar change in game when you reach i think rank 6 - but whenever i'm in the moors freep or creep, i feel that i am either singled out for being low rank or prayed upon for being low rank - by my own side. THIS MUST STOP!!!

On a side note anyone else who feels this, then on with we creeps have a tribe called Monsters In Arms, dedicated to helping low level creeps to get together and help one another!

Its not just Withywindle dude, its the same on every server if your a low rank newbie. I experienced the same when I was a greenie.

A lot of it has to do with Mistrust over Elitism, a lot of players mainly creeps, have invited low ranks into their groups and all of a sudden a freep groups knows exactly where they are. Or the Low rank in the group does not listen to what the Group/raid Leader says, meaning the group/raid is not as effective.

You get the same elitism in PVE, because you dont have the right gear or you havent done that paticular raid.

Get yourself known a bit - think of it like this;

You get a job, work from the bottom and make your way up.

As nice as it would be to start at the top of the totem pole, it just isn't reality.

Start some small fellowships, bring some friends with you - blah blah blah, have some fun - people will recognise you and then want to group with you.

M8 at my groups all lvl 75 are welcome.. I kick someome only if has been afk for a long time..
New players should follow the group and the assist target and remember.. don't stay behind and don't pull npcs!!
If u play pvp everyday for one month u ll learn how u should act in every condition..

Don't despair and keep trying..

It has nothing to do with elitism!

On creepside,rank does matter,it is as simple as that... Lowrank creeps are little more then cannonfodder,and usually behave like teenagers,they dont listen to the leader,dont follow rat,dont activate voice even if asked multiple times. And at that point,atleast i get rid of them on my groups/dont group with them.

Freepside there is no reason to not get you into group,aside of personal grudge,OR you are one of those People that dont want to follow what the Leader says.

It is more often then not simply the fact that lowranks/newbies arent willing to listen,learn and assist that makes groupleaders or ranked players not group with them.
Aside of that,as many said before get your name known out there,get a reputation and you will see once people know your not just a spy,sabotaging,rampaging not listening guy. you are welcome in every group even as lowrank/newcomer.

Yes i agree, it is not elitism, that i am sure of. Both on creep and freep the people that currently lead groups are very nice people and very good leaders (just listen to what they say and ask when you dont understand).

If you are willing to learn the ups and downs of PvP, listen to the group leader and behave nicely (frankly these are the things you should do in any group in the game or basically anywhere) then there is no reason to not get invited.

Regarding the fact you get killed first...well there is nothing you can do about it (easy kills first is a rule in ettens, its war after all)...nor can the people in your group do much....just stay and dont retreat after you die if not instructed. You will get points from the kills of the team (nothing wron with that, you did your best). Besides that do some questing when you can. After you get a few ranks you will be harder to kill and more useful to the team.

But more that anything be respectfull and calm. From what my experience tells me you are probably younger so you dont have a lot of patience. Unfortunately the way Ettens is structured right now patience you need. And lots of it. And do not get upset....it is a game and Ettens is a war zone. I get ganked by wargs a gazilion times a day and i dont get upset...ill get em next time ;-)
