So is the cloak and title the *only* reward for grinding out these dailies 60 times? Or is there a better reason to be doing this?
Nobody can possibly know yet (outside of Turbine and the Palantir program, anyway...and those groups don't talk), since the minimum time to get one is 26 days. We should know around the end of June or very early July if there are any other rewards to the deed. I'm continuing to work on the 60-quest deed as a contingency. While I expect to earn the cloak, I don't EVER expect to actually wear it.
And if there are other rewards (such as this being the path to getting those extra skills on your war-steed skill tree - just a guess on my part), that means this 30 day grind will need to be done on ALL alts you want to get the extra stuff. Given that I have 2 at 75 (yeah, not much) and one more that should be maxed before Rohan comes out, I hope that this is not the case. Even if I did the grind 3 times a day and could do it in a month, that is a dismal prospect. I would much rather just throw the cloak in my wardrobe in case any of my alts actually want to wear this ... curiousity.

The "exclusive skill" is unlocked by the Discovering the Descendent deed.
As for running multiple characters... There is no quest involved that needs to take over 10 minutes. The local dailies (except for the horseshoe one) take closer to 2 mins., and one of the horse sessions takes--at most--3 minutes. So figure typically 15 minutes per character per day (including turnin and relogging times). If that's too much daily time, you can restrict yourself to the shorter quests and take more calendar time to complete the 60-quest deed. Not exactly onerous...
Can someone explain to me why it's reasonable to make someone grind for an item they paid extra for in the first place?
You bought the deed which has as a reward the cloak, not the cloak per se. Much like you purchase the quests in the game which are not then completed for you, despite your payment.
When I first saw the cloak, I started making tasteless jokes in GLFF about using it to RP as a ponygirl (Google it, heheh)... and yeah, I'm still there. Needs a bit and some latex, though!

The moment I saw the cloak, and played with it a bit in the dressing room, I knew what I was going to use it with. Finally!
So, yeah... am 5/4 days away from getting it. Other than that 'parade horse' idea, I don't know. It's certainly.... different. And someone might be able to pull it off as part of some 'horsey' outfit...
I'm just wondering what other people think about that cloak, considering it takes a long grind to get and you need to pay quite a bit more.
I'm not complaining or anything, I personally quite like the cloak, I'm just wondering what the general opinion of it is
Although the forums will censor my actual text, it looks like a horse's &&&. I only wanted the special skill portion, and have stopped after getting it because it was just deed grinding.

I dyed mine all white worn with a white elf queen dress.. looks nice this way. Yes I also think that message is a hint to something bigger than a cloak in Rohan.
Got the cloak, threw it in the wardrobe, dyed it Sea Blue and went to prance around the town on the Anniversary Pony. Combined with a white dress and fancy shoulders with golden detailing, it's a rather surprisingly fitting outfit.
Norwrei: Have to try the cloak dyed white, too. Thanks for the tip!
Aha. Thank you. I would never have thought of that.
Now back to wondering what my skills will be, come September.
(I still like the idea of my Lynx riding on my saddlebow, but I don't suppose it'll happen.)
Lol yeah. Anf fyi I always read the text of the mouse-over deed icon, because there is often some very interesting information in it.
I am also annoyed that we are not told what the bonus Mounted combat skill we get does. It just says bennificial in combat, 1 day cooldown. Whaaaaaat? Whats that mean?

OH GAWD you mean we have to grind for that awful rediculous looking stupid cloak for some kind of benefit in Rohan?? Is this another rumour thing like the horseshoe was?? Oy oy oy. Well now I'm off to do some horse quests.../sigh

Doubtful, the ingame benefit comes from the other, easier deed.
In the sea without lees standeth the Bird of Hermes. When all his feathers be from him gone, He standeth still here as a stone.
Here is now both white and red, And all so the stone to quicken the dead

1 day cooldown is quite a long cooldown. Could it be something short but huge?
It would be nice if there was more behind the 60 quests deeds than just the unique title and cloak, as the mous-over does seem to suggest.
A cloak with a tail?? What's next, boots with hooves? Helms with a mane? Nosebag?? It's a definite nay from me.
ha-ha look again! It also has a Mane!! Its a tad on the silly side I agree, I love the cosmetics in game but I like things to be sensible, 'Hooves' ever 'heard' of a Cloak with a mane & tail? It's crazy in fact downright un'stable' (groan >.<)
