In what order are the horses watered?

I tried Bobby first because he was the closest, and yes, it seems that he gets watered first. (0/3 tries)

Back to well, get bucket of water.

Watered Billy next. Bong, wrong horse, spilled the water. (1/3) tries)

Back to well, get bucket of water.

Watered Lizzie next. Bong, wrong horse, spilled the water. (2/3 tries)

Back to well, get bucket of water.

Watered Henry next. Bong, wrong horse, spilled the water. (3/3 tries)

Okay, Bobby seems to be the first horse to be watered, and we only have three more horses to water, and we get three tries to find the next (second) horse, and IT IS NONE OF THE REMAINING THREE?

Seriously folks, the ten minute wait between (Retry)s is not gonna solve who gets watered next if none of the remaining horses get watered next.

What order are the horses watered in, specifically? Please.

I seem to have no problem with the order you described: Bobby, Billy, Lizzie, Henry. I have done this quest like six times now and never failed it with this order.

Bobby, Billy, Lizzie, Henry is the order for all the relevant quests.

You have to make sure you run write up to the water bucket at each horse. This causes your well-bucket to be automatically emptied into it. You don't have to click it, just run into it.

BoBiLiHe works like a charm, you just need to run straight to Billy and Henry, the rest is easy.

You would probably hate the german version. The names in the quest description are different from horses names (and no, none of them are english).

Thank you to all respondents. I will just keep hauling buckets of water until something clicks, and I stand in exactly the right place, or whatever.

The water buckets at the horses do not become clickable. As Elathan said, run straight up to the water bucket at each horse and bump into it. That way you will not fail the quest. Good luck.

Well, I tried the order and it failed every time so far. I ran right up to the horse each time. The only portion of the order that seems correct so far is Bobby.

Go to the bucket, not the horse. The 2nd one doesn't allow much time to do anything but go straight to the bucket.

LOTRO learns us many useful things. Like how to water a horse. To water a horse, one should not directly administer water to a horse, but instead fill a nearby bucket. The horse will then proceed to autoadminister itself water from the filled bucket and will thus be watered, indirectly, by you.

You might want to know that this quest works in a group.
So if you and your co-players both deliver water to Bobby, it will fail of course, since Bobby must only get water once.

The quest text specifically says "I could use some help filling the water in the horses' buckets", just FYI. It makes no mention of' watering the horses'.
