Thread: s-t-u-p-i-d Ivar!

I keep wiping each time i want to try this order: Warg - Man - Troll - Orc: in OD tier 1.

Anyone got a suggestion to live throught the -100% incoming heals and 5k AoE (both are raid wide effects) the whole fight?
the healing is always -50% incoming with another ramdom -50% buff that last about 10 seconds sometimes.

- Tried with 7 healers, not enough heals.
- Tried with a balanced group that was enough to do the Tier 2 Challenge.
- Not tried with an uber DPS race to kill it before 1 minute so we don't get a third mortal AoE. (his morale is 500k anyway)

I've never done the fight but just from reading it here are my suggestions:

Bubbles. RKs would make better healers due to thier bubbles if there is -50% healing the entire fight. Champ bubbles would also help and they should be able to survive all 3 AoEs (bubble for two of them and switch to +mit armor before the 3rd or rk group bubble).

Other than that I'd get a tank, two cappys with bladebrother on champs, 2 healing rks, 2 burg (for the incoming dmg buff), and 5 champs Should be able to burn it down quick. Possibly within a min if everyone is geared enough. The tank should be able to survive easily for a min with little heals since its a 65 boss and they can be invincible for 30 sec with 2x pledge. When the -100% healing comes up pop pledge.

I'm assuming there is someother statagy since this raid was intended for lvl 65s though but like I said, I've never done it or read anything about it.

that is my next guess, the DPS race mode. because otherwise we don't get only 3 AoE, we would get 10, 20, 30? Raid Wide aoe of 5k damage, wich usually can wipe healers really fast.

Now the Bubble of the rks is an interesting idea i could try, but their cooldown makes it only availible for once and it only works for each fellowship, so only can save 1 of the AoEs.

I am usually the tank there now and pledge is something i usually manage well even with the need to keep moving ivar from his position so he doesn't heal.

I'm definitely trying rks with bubbles. But here's the problem i find, rks doesn't heal group-wide really well. and in this battle the tank is the person with less risk to die. The healers must focus on healing all the group, squisies first. Not sure how good rks could heal throught that fellowship wide since i mostly use minstrels.

I'm guess i can use this thread so the people interested in helping sign in here and i can ask them inside-game for next attemp :P
