Am I missing something? I was under the impression we could hotswap the three LLG jewelry items to use the bubble effect. However, whenever I equip the pocket item it automatically goes on a 5-minute cooldown - without firing off the effect.
I tried equipping it directly from the bag with a right-click, manually dropping it on the character sheet, and doing with and without the other two set items equipped. All scenarios caused the pocket item CD to start, but no effect.
Is this an intentional gimp to disallow macro swapping of the items and stacking effects? Were we always required to wait 5 minutes before using the effect of these items or was that a recent change?
If WAI, I am kind of annoyed to have purchased these items.
in my personal experience it happens on most items with an "on use" effect, and imao it's only a good thing that the macro swappers don't get this one ^^
Following advice from a previous thread on the subject.
In a situation where you feel it's likely you'll need the 'Bubble', equip the pocket item and let the cool down expire.
Then you can Hotswap the earring and ring in during the fight, click the bauble for the bubble and then swap back to the original jewellery for the heal on expire.
It's clunky and of limited use but does work.
You just have to sacrifice the Anduin Vagabond's Bauble's nice Agility bonus for a Martyr's less useful Might.
It's just a shame the Dev's didn't put the Bubble on an Agility and Will based set of Jewelry as well, so all Classes could gain the advantage if desired.

Thanks Fel, that is a decent idea. In my rage, I figured the best I could do was start a big fight with the bubble and then swap back to all agi bling. This is a half-way decent approach if you know you are going against something big - especially if you have to slow dps to start anyway.
Oh well - I was hopeful that this was a way to have a hard-earned bubble that was useful in a real emergency. Swing and a miss.
if it's a situation where u are going to need a bubble u could as well keep the earring and the ring as they are a really good boost to morale and tactical mitigation
on the other hand if u're using both sets, before the fight u have to decide if u're more likely in need of a bubble or a 20 seconds dps burst
