Hey all,
Recently I have been grinding my remaining.class traits and virtues and after a couple days I looked in my wallet and found a nice sum of gold. Now I know there may be.better things to spend it on but if you had to buy some level 75 crafted gear what is best? So far I bought a potent great river armor. What else should I be looking for?
The guild crafted Great River Medium Armor is probably best at the moment.
Enduring Great River Armor of Strength
Enduring Great River Boots of Resolve
Enduring Great River Gauntlets of Defense
Enduring Great River Leggings of Stamina - could look at the Leggings of Avoidance
Enduring Great River Helm of Resilience
Enduring Great River Pauldrons of Deflection
Obviously don't know what you are currently equip'd with and if you have access to the Isengard 3/6 man instances - if you have , get in Foundry and Isen 3 man groups, to farm meds and seals for the 4/6 Galtrev armor it does not take that long.
The only 2 crafted items you will end up wearing then are the Helm and Shoulders.

The one-shot crafted armor from Draigoch recipe drops is better than the Great River teal crafted armor. It is a multi-output recipe that can naturally crit teal--there is not guild shortcut to crit versions. The non-crit version is a little inferior to Great River crafted teal. The crit version is a little hard to get, since the crit component is a scholar manual that also requires a Cracked Symbol and a one-shot recipe. So 2 symbols and 2 one-shot recipes gets you just over 50% chance of critting. I just rolled the dice on this without the manual at around a 30% crit chance. Sadly, I got non-crit version twice in a row now. At around 15-18G in recipe and materials cost, they are expensive misses! I wore the non-crit version for a while and eventually upgraded it to the Great River version.
I had a set of DPS warden armor for about a week after I hit 75. I think mostly I enjoyed the process of acquiring the stuff and working my way up to 75 with the goal of wearing it. (There's something about gearing in a progression that I love, and I hadn't had too much of that since my main had hit 75 in like October.) Then I got my Orthanc locks with my kin that week, so I had fun with my expensive crafted armor for a few days. Here's what I had: Fortified Seared Coat of Conquest (nothing particularly tanky from that recipe) Reinforced Wayfarer's Resolute Leggings (nothing tanky from that recipe either) Reinforced Wayferer's Plated Helm of Resilience (nothing tanky from that recipe; I screwed up my CD and made the GR helm with Agi, so I got this instead) Enduring Great River Pauldrons of Deflection (Balance better for DPS, but that tact mit is so nice!) Enduring Great River Boots of Resolve (same as pauldrons) Enduring Great River Gauntlets of Defence
For you, for tanking, if you're adamant about crafted armor, I recommend the GR boots of Resolve, GR Pauldrons of Deflection, GR Gauntlets of Defence, GR Helm of Resilience, GR Leggings of Stamina, and I daresay GR Armor of Resolve over Strength to pick up a little Agi and round yourself out. I guess the Draigoch crafted chest piece is good there too.
