I forsee Igluk totally missing yet another PvMP event due to much more important events ongoing IRL. On the bright side, it ain't school/project related this time. Thank God.
But since I've lost almost all interest in LOTRO PvP, I don't mind missing it at all.

Igluk. I just checked out the link in your sig. I'm losing interest in LoTRO as well and am not entirely sure if I'll be getting GW2 so I'll have to try that game out, it looks boss!

LOTRO was my first, and has been my only, MMO. The one and only reason I ever got into LOTRO was because it was Lord of the Rings, and I was a huge fan of the books and movies. Now the endless grind has simply caused me to lose interest in it.
One thing I loved about Medal or Honor 2010 single player was the amount of realism (not 100% realistic, obviously) and respect they gave to the troops since they had real US Tier 1 operatives actively helping them develop the single player. But, the multiplayer was lacking. I loved Battlefield 3 multiplayer however. Now I'm planning on getting MoH:Warfighter since it looks like they've greatly improved the multiplayer, and I'm hoping the single player is just as good, if not better than MoH 2010.
It'd be awesome if we could get some LOTRO players together in it to own the battlefield.
I'll continue playing LOTRO off and on until MoH: Warfighter releases. And I might even come back to it after that. Idk, I just need a break from the grind. There's much better ways I can spend my time and money.
Watched the trailer. God I miss hardcore fps games
Unfortunately, BF3 was buggy enough for it to barely work on my rig which is the main reason I have been playing lotro.
The best pvp I've had was on bf2, bf2142 and bf:bc2.
mmo's cannot match the same intensity and basis on skill as those games

I'm not a big gamer so I normally just play whenever I get together with some friends. Even then we don't play much, so needless to say I am terrible at console games. However since I've got a much better machine than I had last year, I'm planning on getting MoH:Warfighter. I love a good FPS so long as it's pretty realistic/authentic.
There's no contest between mmos and FPS mulitplayer in my book. There's no bubbles, HiPs, big morale heals, etc in a game like BF3 (for example). If you die, it's not because your class is unbalanced. It's because you didn't stick to cover, or sprayed bullets all over, or you ran around on full auto the whole time, etc. Not saying FPS's are perfect, but to me it's much more skill based.
I used to love playing Call of Duty World at War on xbox live. I used to run around with a trenchgun with bayonet and had silent steps and sprint perks. Damn I loved shankin fools.
Found a confused puppy along the way, we tried to /follow him, but he wasn't very good at leading, he actually /sat down when we started /following. Took awhile to get him movin.
Got a little hot on our way to Grams, so we got more comfortable.
Finally made it to Grams to be one shotted. Puppy layed down with our corpses for a very long time. Sadly, my screenies of that have gone missing.
