    Best LOTRO Experience Yet

Hello Champs, just thought I'd tell a story of the most fun I've had yet in LOTRO.

First, a little back story. I have been playing LOTRO for a little over a year. I have gone through millions of alts and am now down to a capped LM, 54 burg, 49 RK, and a 37 Champ. In all my time playing LOTRO, the best time I have EVER had came today on my lowbie Champ named Patriotic

My good RL friend recently made a Champ and was sitting at level 38. We were both about to start Men Erain in Evendim so we decided we would go dual Champs just to see what we could get done.

    WOW.

We flew through quests grabbing anywhere between 6-9 mobs in the tomb raider camps and just BLENDED them. We were unstoppable! We finished a few of the kill 8 of these quests in ONE pull! So many numbers flying around and MASSIVE piles of enemies just lying dead at our boots.

This was the fastest and most enjoyable leveling I have partaken of TO DATE. I am looking forward to leveling my Champ so much and I hope that it only gets better!

Thank you devs for making one of the classes mirror a food processor

I wish the best to the rest of you champs and I hope I'm here long enough to slash side by side with y'all

    /salute

    Patriotic of Riddermark

I lol'd . My champ is nubby, only 21 as of now, but I might stop creeping as much to level him up, so far it's also awesome. I've been leveling with a few friends, LM, hunt, and have skirmed with a champ quite a bit, it's so fun so far xD. I've yet to find a use for my bubble, even when tanking 3-man skirms. I don't think I can tank instances though, I don't know.

It does get a lot better still, as soon as you have the raging blade legendary trait.

there isn't much in this game that can stand up to a few champs One of my memorable moments was the quest run through GA long before the revamp... pugged 1/x got 3 other champs and a captain and we blitzed the place... the elite gaunt men crumbled before us, the trees turned to sawdust Was a blast

    Re: Best LOTRO Experience Yet

With my first 75 (my warden) i thought i would never get another 75 again, then i played my champ a little, and well... he's lvl 74 and will be 75 as of later tonight, i have made the decision that my champ will be my new main and probably first to 85 when RoR comes out, i never usually play with game sounds on, but now... i just love hearing SHING! SHING! every 10 seconds, it brings a faint satisfying smile to me every time.

and a buddy of mine once said

"the job of the champion is to pull as much aggro as possible from the tank, in any situation, it is our job to keep the healers awake, and it is our job to punish the lore breakers with the wrath of sir tolkien. He who playeth the runekeeper shall be subjected to our wrath!"

and then he said "it is also the job of a champion to annoy the loremasters, because we are the only true crowd control class, who needs stuns when you have 3 champs? LET THE BLENDERIZING COMMENCE!"

he said this over a year ago, and i still remember it to this day

    Vreal: Level 75 Warden
    Griminsborith: Level 75 Champion
    Orearry: Level 37 Burglar
    Togira: Level 36 Minstrel
    Knurlagn: Level 26 Runekeeper

My best Champion experience is when I was about to hit level 20 (didn't die once, so I was about to get the Undying title) and I had 2 hp left and 3 baddies on me... What did I do? Bracing Attack for 148 crit... I survived that fight by the gritting of the goblins teeth as I slayed them with my blades!!

    Shing shing baby!

    Yup Cael is a hoot!

Related but he and I were in one of my more epic LOTRO moments when we successfully 3-manned part of the twins fight in BG back in the Mirkwood days. We were going easy mode so the fire twin had just died when the whole right side of the raid wiped, he grabbed aggro, our one healer flopped long enough to let him and I proceeded to DPS while dumping aggro back on Cael, who had to range tank as a GRD while the mini tried to keep both of us alive. Pretty epic.

hmmmm a lot of good memories i have with my champ .. i guess thats why i still stick around after all these years ^^.
But my favourite will always be the HOC runs with 5 Champs and a healer . The healers got so stressed out of healing that we needed in 10 runs at one day 7 different healers ^^.
That were really glorious times though i like the champ now better not because the class itself has a higher survivability but because it became for complex.
    Check Check I am a melody ;D
