Angry Plank of Treated Rowan recipe lost

When I started a new character, I played as a hunter and chose forestry as my craft skill. I completed the various quests, but then somehow ended up switching to a new crafting-skill set accidentally, and lost my recipe for treated rowan planks. Now I have a ton of rowan wood, no way to process it, and no way to advance my forestry crafting ability. I feel like I'm missing out on a whole section of the game. Help! How do I get the recipe for treated rowan planks back, so that I can advance the forestry skill-set?!

It is not quite clear from your post what was your former vocation and what is your current vocation.

Your original vocation was either Woodsman (forester, farmer, and woodworker professions) or Explorer (forester, prospector, and tailor professions).

If your new vocation is not one of those two, then you no longer have access to forestry and cannot process your own planks...unless you change back to one of the vocations that includes the forestry profession. Note that should you switch vocations, you will lose all progress in any professions that are no longer part of your new vocation.

Since I chose a hunter as a class, I thought I should go with a woodsman as my vocation so I could make my own bows and whatnot. At some point after that, after I had completed the three basic vocation quests for the Woodsman (foresting, farmed, and woodworking), I somehow switched into something else (like an explorer), and lost all of my progress. When I switched back into the Woodsman, I had not gotten back the Plank of Treated Rowan recipe. If it sounds a bit confusing, it's because I'm not exactly sure what I did; sorry.

I feel stupid. I was looking at the wrong heading, and found the recipe. Thanks for your help!
