Thread: Hedvig over and out

I have been terribly bored lately and decided to close my account and deleate my little spider on the 24th of June, after one last spider raid at 8 pm UK time which I hope many will attend. I will not come back to Lotro.

I would like to thank everyone, creeps and freeps for the fun and the fights

Moving on to GW2 when it opens, going to play on the Gandara server (just think of Gandalf and you remember it) if anyone likes to team up.

Count me in for one last horah with eight legs I'm going to be playing gw2 too so won't be around much in the moors when it's released but as a 'lifer' will creep out of darkened holes when you least expect it at some point.

I haven't decided on a server or anything but I hope to see you around on my pistol toting engineer or that ranger with a pet spider called 'skittle'

Nooo - pls don't go Hed... if you do need a break take one but don't delet your spider....

Dont delete spider. Maybe turbine change mind and give us some new stuff for pvmp in next year.

Don't commment on here often but sorry to see you go, you know the value and fun of a good zerg v zerg battle unlike so many of the whiners on the forums

i won't miss playing in or against your zerg raids, and am curious whether you will play pvp of this style in gw2 .. but anyway wish you good luck in whatever game you going in

Not gonna troll ya here Hedv, but being nice (yes I can be a nice person).

It's been fun for the years, both as raid leader and active-OOC typer.

Will see you around on other games perhaps, if not then gl further, bare the small chance you 'll come back (you can P2W your spider back :P)

Well, it's been fun running around with you although I ain't creeping as often. It was pretty fun when we were the only 2 spiders serverwide with the exact same skin meaning I got targeted A LOT MORE all of a sudden xD

Well, I hope to see you again somewhere in GW2! or when you crawl back to Middle-Earth....

I stopped playing creepside quite a while ago but always enjoyed being in Hedvig's raids, lots of laughs. Another sad day for the community, but hey, g/l on your travels, have fun in GW2 and may see you there.

Don't go Hed, or at least don't delete your 8-leg montrocity so that you can drop in from time to time.

I have never posted on Turbine's forums since transferring from Codies, but i couldn't let this pass without a few comments.
Over the years you've had me almost crying with laughter many many times over your crazy antics in the moors.
Your raids have never been predictable either killing everything in sight or getting slaughtered horribly it's always been fun.
I for one will be very sorry to see you go, if there's any way to persuade you to at least not delete your spider i'll try to
convince you ( remember hobbit children need scaring about the nasty Hedvig coming to get them ). If not then i wish you
good luck and have loads of fun where ever you go

im so sorry to see you go hedvig, you forfilled my renown bar, i will miss my easy kills, and those special fights we had together, where it was almost like killing a greendot. thankyou

nah enough of the joking, cya take care. had some good raid v raids now and then. hope u come bk eventually, seems a waste people quiting after achieving so much, its the only reason i cant officialy quit, will make 5 and a bit years of playing lotro completely redundent and a waste of time ;S sad day for any1 to quit/delete their chars. i suggest u dont delete it tbh tho, i know they have (char remake) but its not worth it, if u dont like gw2, and want to come bk, waste of ur rl money to rebuy it.

I rarely write on the forums, but it is such a sad day to see one of our best raid leaders leave so I had to write something.
I have always enjoyed your raids as have many people, your enthusiasm and sense fun never seemed to lag and that made it a joy to fight in your raids. I think you can see from all the replies that you will be missed and I add my voice to that crowd. Please do not delete that glorious spider, leave open the possibility that you could return. The freeps will not sleep easy knowing you may come back to haunt them and anything that makes a freep uneasy is always a good thing.
But if you truly desire to leave then I wish you all the best and I hope you enjoy everything you do as much as you always appeared to enjoy leading raids and killing freeps.

Thank you all for the kind words and good wishes that I have received here on forum and in game. And thank you all who joined the spider raid tonight and I am sorry it was full most of the time, couldnt get you all in.
Always scream "WooooooHoooooooo" when charging into freeps and remember that all freeps die when zerged no matter how OP they are

Speaking from freepside: going out with a Bang! What a fun raid that was with all those spiders and spiderlings. I enjoyed the encounters immensely. Though my PC did not. Now I know the term lag must be derived from legs. Calculating all those 8 legged creatures and their spawn sure burned the memory-units.

I always hate to see you come Hedvig, knowing the zerg is not far behind, but now I hate to see you leave. I hope you will keep the char and visit us occasionally. If not: farewell dear lady.

Great fun w all the spiders... so much lag couldn't move or do anything :P
Hedvig you are sure going to be missed sweetie... I do hope you miss us sooooo much that you come back Creepside (and freepside) will not be the same without you

I advise to keep your spider burrowed somewhere ; when you get bored with GW2 lotro might have become more interesting and by that time your fellas and warband would love to have you back im sure.
