Asht, not only did you get 5795 on your warg, but you came over and kept me company on your guard and we gained 1215 renown together. Lots of fun, even though you leeched all of that
Earlier in the day, I let 3 creeps farm me for 15 deaths in a row outside of GV. A BA had tried to run from me ETA Ford, but decided to fight me. I stayed mounted to give him a pretty good headstart. Our fight was extremely close. Then a warg and a BA interupted and sorta ruined it. So when the 3 caught me right out of GV, I figured I'd get them some commendations, audacity, and maybe some confidence.
So for that link^, I contributed 1500 infamy (minus any DR of course) to the warg with 9006, BA with 3455, and the BA with 2911.
Now that I know their true character, I certainly won't be staying mounted to give them a head-start anymore

As for the above mentioned hissy fit let me explain. I just joined up for a 3 person group and we were separated from each other. We were told that you were near the ford so we got there as soon as we could and engaged you. (I didn’t take time to see how the fight was going or who was winning). I didn’t know about how “nice” and “honorable” you had been by letting him get you down half health before engaging and was just going by what I was told. We continued running around while you were on your creep complaining to me about what happened and how I should be embarrassed (I wasn’t). After sending a tell and seeing that you were offline I made the decision to head up to GV to look for you because it just felt like the right thing to do . We found you and as soon as you were engaged you just stood there. You continued to run out to our exact location and let us kill you. I feel a little guilty for standing there and letting you do that but if you want to give away free infamy then I won’t stop you. You let off some frustration and we got some infamy so everyone was happy. I got maybe 500-600 infamy from you because it was split 3 ways.
As I told you in tells and has been stated hundreds of times, everyone plays differently. If I went over freepside and complained everytime I have had a 1 v 1 (yes I am a warg and I do 1 v 1) interrupted then I’d never have time to get any infamy. It is just a game and will continue to be one for me. I do it because it is fun and your theatrics made it even more fun. Thanks for making it enjoyable and I’ll see ya out there.

Unlike Nymerica, I engaged knowing full well what was going on. You’re “1v1”ing a buddy of mine who has not played in 5 months and has no audacity, whom I was grouped with at that moment and heading towards. So yes, I orc healed him and killed you. Deal.
I have always enjoyed when freeps range around and are looking for honorable “1v1”s. I try to respectful most times, but when it gets right down to it….if you want a honest and honorable 1v1, arrange one and go to candy mountain and out of the open pvp area.
On another note of freeps wanting to 1v1, I find it amusing that most of them do it because they always win. Respect for being a good player, but it’s common sense for me not to engage you when I am sure to lose. I know my limits and play accordingly (you get plenty of renown killing lowbies in HH, DC, and GTA as it is). I could begin an entire discourse on why freeps are OP, or I could comment on that fact that RK’s (for one example) hit me with 10k+ damage with no induction in about 2 seconds. Meanwhile, I am left with VT with a 2 sec induction and a dev hit of around 4k on light armor…and a 2 min cooldown…that’s once I got to r7. Let's not forget that I play a BA...the best damage dealer the creeps have to offer.
However, I would rather just stop there before I complain so much I become you. I will end it by saying thanks for the free imfamy, and feel free to have a hissy fit anytime you want, I enjoyed it immensely.
As you so poignantly pointed out I was at 9k infamy gain yesterday. Meaning I got about 8.4k the rest of the day fighting (I did HH quests and scouting quests and thats all). For someone that doesnt like to fight i sure did a lot of fighting after my encounter with you. I have 1 creep, 1/2 a freep (level 26 guard) and have no use for infamy/comms. I have most my skills already and run around at max comms a lot of the time cause i dont have anything left to spend them on. As I said I play the game cause it is fun and infamy/ranking comes with time put in. If i was interested in solely my rank/infamy then i would be grouped up every night but the fact remains that I am solo or in a group of 2 or 3 95% of the time. For someone that enjoys the fight so much, as you claim, whats the point in disengaging completely and just standing there. Yesterday was not the first time Ive seen you use that tactic and im sure it wont be the last. Ill clear it up right now and say that I will not disengage in a fight just because the freep I am fighting does not want to. Ill take the kill and keep moving on.
As with any other PvP arena, there are usually too many variables to, without doubt, surmise the motives of someone else. If I'm in a group I would totally try to save my group member, Its fun for me to do that, so I can't really blame them. I certainly know a bunch of creeps have died with my arrows in their back. Its literally a split second in which you have to decide what is "proper" to do, and I really cant be upset with anyone's decision in this regard.
Bid them achieve me and then sell my bones.

The BA slowed me, ran away, and I started to leave him alone. He was not interested in fighting. Then he started shooting at me and I let him. After I let him farm me (which to me, even if someone is 'letting' you, it's up to you to step up and take responsibility and have some integrity and step away), he corpse-jumped me later in the open field.
Classy BA right there. But he had no audacity and he hasn't played in 5 months so it's okay.....
EDIT: Nymerica, come on. Don't act all innocent. How many of my fights did you blatantly interrupt over the past month? It's starting to get creepy....

If you step out of GV, I don't care if you had to leave your house because it's on fire, or you've had a stroke or you've just paused to scratch your ####. You're in the Moors, you're going to get punched. Stand there if you like, come back and stand there, I'll punch you again. I don't care if I win or lose, people are getting punched regardless.

There is this unfortunate mindset out there among to many people where they will not help another on their side when they see them in a fight.
Yeah for months and months I would let a 1v1 go as I knew how hard they are to come by, but now I'm starting to care less and less about worrying about jumping in... Most of the time I get a "ty", and the other few times I get to happily type "open PvP nub".

fell- if by blatantly interrupt you mean came across you and engaged I'd put the total number at about 3 maybe 4. I roam the map as well and we will undoubtedly cross paths. It is the moors and unless it is an obvious 1 v 1 (freeps and creeps standing by watching) I will more than likely engage. On the same note I would expect the same courtesy to be returned to me. Based on the number of 1 v 1's ive had that turned into 5 v 1's Id say freeps are doing a pretty good job and I applaud them. Ill return to the rez and look forward to my next fight. Hopefully with this little back and forth ive at least guaranteed that you will no longer ride by me without engaging
Actually from the few people I've talked to in the last week, the creep open raid is basically giving it away since you stopped your groups...
Maybe if they learned how to choose targets instead of focusing on a warden/guardian and removing 5% of his/her total morale over a period of 2 minutes while hunters/RKs/minstrels spend this time healing and nuking with impunity, they'd stop getting rolled.
It's like the creep raids are working with NPC threat mechanics...

OH no doubt you are right, I don't know the particulars other than the description of "getting smashed" was used in the conversation I was having...its a tougher day out there for creeps right now with the games power balance, even tougher to be in an open raid under those circumstances.
