Question New hobbits...Er i mean hobbies please

Me and a friend on the Arkenstone server were talking about the distinct lack of hobbies in LOTRO, It came after we went on a fishing trip in the shire and a conversation about getting the big fish stuffed and mounted for my home.
She loves collecting and shining jewels, polishing gemstones and precious metals found around Middle-earth and wished this was a hobbie choice within the game and not just a craft, she also wished she a had a had a display cabinet in her hobbit house to show off some of her more exotic trinkets. What do you think? What hobbies would you like to see in game?

Some hobbies I could see added:

Horse Tending - could be known by other names. Most horses have set stats but instead they could make a base set of stats and through this increase those stats.

Collecting - This could use a new collection case type of items, small ones for collecting things like Coin, Event trinkets, other trinkets. Larger ones like a Weapon Case, Weapon Mounts, Armor Stands are possible.

Boating - I am not talking big large ships, just little boats or rafts, possibly made through Professions requiring several Professions to work together (Woodworker for hulls, Metalworker for bands to hold wood together, Tailor for sails). I know there is boat travel in Evendim but really with the amount of water that could be traveled I am surprised there are not more boating options. This could lead to things to do at an event.

Some brilliant ideas there, it really is sorely lacking in hobbies. I dont know about you but sometimes instead of questing i like to just chill in Middle-Earth and these ideas would help alot. I especially like the ideas of weapon collecting and armour

Sorry to say, but it has been said just a few days ago that there will be no work done in the foreseeable future (read: at least into 2013) on hobbies.

I've got an idea for a new hobby!

Erm, does drinking count as a hobby?

Heck, yes, at least they should have a Deed for it. I'd say brewing too but that is under Farmer already.

well if they ever get round to making another hobby available
    how about
Falconry (using birds of prey to hunt small animals - they don't have to be present on the landscape all the time - but like the fish appear in fishing - could also use some of the game for crafting at higher levels?)

    Kite flying perhaps?

New hobbies, heck yeah... My one and only dissapointment with this game was when I discovered there was only one hobby.

Anway, my two suggestions would be...

    Painting
Sculpture (wood, stone, clay or all)

Stoneworking? I mean, carving stone statues, for houses.
