Our Creeps are always complaining on how all freeps do is zerg zerg zerg zerg well maybe freeps wont zerg if you people actually push...pardon my language but holy #### you guys needa nut up and stop worrying about your rating you also complain about how all they do is farm at rez...AGAIN...PUSH!!!!!!....th t is all i have to say and maybe these "zerg fests" as you creeps like to call them will stop
I'd also like to add that your use of punctuation is superbly displayed in you're initial post. However I'd still need you to get 5 stars in order for me to take you seriously. Everyone notable in the game knows that having 5 stars is the epitome of pvp skill in this game. So why would I, or anyone else for that matter, care what you have to say about the pvp on the best server in the game?
You are clearly senile and fyi bud this is a game forum lol so why would i care about punctuation and i just came back from a few month break so yeah lol and idc about tht 5 star #### lol you like every1 else is soo anal about there rating....ITS A GAME NOT A ##### DONT TAKE IT SO HARD

You would care about Punctuation since the general overview of players can only be seen from their punctuation, which gives me a very good impression of a 13-year old boy using his Mom's credit card? If you want people to follow your posts, talk accurately and convincingly. Your original post is simply a rant with a difficult interpretation. Take some practice beforehand.
Although, I will state that the PvP on Firefoot was considerably terrible, and I even put two threads out in the 'Monster Play' forums requesting the option to remove Rating as a part of the War panel. It did not succeed, although that is the only option I see that would reduce cowardice in PvP.
Our Creeps are always complaining on how all freeps do is zerg zerg zerg zerg well maybe freeps wont zerg if you people actually push...
Freeps/Creeps will zerg regardless of who does or does not "push". When you lack the ability to win with quality you need to make it up with quantity. Creeps at least have an excuse due to class imbalances. Freeps on the other hand have no excuse.

WvW was a refreshing change after trying to come back to lotro's pvp. Our server (Jade Quarry) had a lot of lotro guilds from other servers on it, and everyone was gushing.
Don't get me wrong, I want to see pvmp bounce back, but the competition is going to get a lot more fierce soon, and they have a lot of work to do.

But work they will not do.
It's really unfortunate. The 'moors has such potential to be great. Many of us see it and wish Turbine would just open their eyes and acknowledge it. Unfortunately I don't think it's something they're willing to do.
I really like LoTRO, but it's gotten to the point where it's just the people I keep coming back to. I dread expansions because it means it's time for little to no content (and this time around paying an absurd amount of money for it) just to grind out 10 more levels and work on a new set of LI's. Once I get all that stuff out of the way I typically look forward to enjoying my time in the 'moors until it's time to do it all over again -- not anymore. Creeps are so bad right now to the point where we've had to put a cap on our group sizes dependant upon how many and how skilled the creeps online are. The fun comes in short burst now, i.e. keeping Meradir alive at Lugz rez when his graphic card went out and he was black screened. Telling him when to tab targets and to build focus and able to stand against the creeps for a good 7-8 mins was one of the funniest things I've had happened in a long time. Point is fun times like that rare now.
My weekend in GW2 kept my excitement level and adrenaline up damn near 24/7. Structured PvP is constant fighting, fast paced with no safety nets and ridiculous amounts of NPCs to deal with. Not to mention you can hop right in. WvW PvP has that element of open world PvP that LoTRO has only on a much larger scale. I really can't say enough good things about it.
TLDR; - It's not just FF PvP. It's LoTRO. Turbine has figured out to milk every dime they can from the Store without touching the 'moors. It's smart business, but it's alienating a small minority of players like myself who just enjoy PvP. But, since they don't need me, I don't need them.
One day we will have a new map, class balance and worthwhile rewards. It's not like we have been waiting 5 years for this. Okay, back to playing diablo. See you in the ettenmoors come Rohan when Clieby returns with 50k health!!!!!!!

Per the a dev in an unnamed forum there will never be a new map. They said they already have the moors "optimized".
And Clieby, when D3 gets boring I hope to see you in GW2
<3 GW2 pvp, probably gonna roll ranger, unless guardians get some love dps wise, they're basically support tanks atm with no real wiggle room to be effective with anything else. Will say though them as support tanks will probably be a big game changer in torny teams since they can provide group regen and have an elite support skill thats good for heals.

Meh, there are alot of revs members not leaving for gw2, there are alot of revs members who left for swtor and some other firefooters like myself jumped aboard to keep it going...FF and lotro will live forever
If Revs leaves server...Firefoot officially worst server in the game. Cheers.
These aren't current members of Revs, they're older members from as far back as rift. Most of these members haven't played lotro since before Rise of Isengaurd. The current Revs members are staying with lotro, and very few have expressed interest in playing GW2 even casually. Current Revelation members will be PvPing once RoR comes out.
Nice thing about LOTRO is that it has a look and feel to it that is hard to beat. GW2 will be a good game I don’t doubt it, but like SWTOR I doubt very much that it will pull as many players as people think (at least in the long term). Honestly right now LOTRO PvP balance is pretty bad when compared to other games on the market, yet here we are still playing.
IMO some of the best players to grace Firefoot have left for other things. Most of them were at one time or another members of Revelations, though not all. Some of those login to the game to say hello or occasionally throw out a forum post, most do not.
Personally have had my fill of PvE in LOTRO and PvMP is getting kind of old. The only real motivating reason I still login is the people in Revs and the nub freeps in the moors . RoR expansion so far looks pretty lame and Turbine feels the 'moors right now is "optimized", so that should tell everyone what to expect over the next year.
GW2, $60, and no subscription fee. Ill be trying it out
FYI: IF you played SWTOR, you might want to look into the upcoming server merger. Looks like they are closing ~1/2 of thier servers in the upcoming months. You get some incentives to transfer prior to the merger (transfers are free).

SWTOR would have retained more players if the release build wasn't broke as &&&&. Firefoot lacks active players and thus makes the pvp even worse than it already is. Plus anyone who's serious about pvp wouldn't be playing this game in the first place. Sufficient pvp for casual play I suppose.
It always make me laugh reading the forums. Since the game began it has been always a "Zerg" fest as you call it. And It happens from both sides. Doesn't matter what side you play on there is ALWAYS some body whining about the other side. So My advice is Just stop whining because as I have pointed out since the game began..... ~If you dont believe me look at most of my posts~ .............................. ......... There is NO WHINING in Lotro!!! Get over it and go kill something!! I Know hop on your freep so I can heal someone that kills you =))

Firefoot has been the worst server in the game for a while now, ever since Resurrection has existed.

Does this forum post count? Am I on the list?

EA killed yet another promising game.
"Hey BioWare, I know you had an amazing track record regarding games released before we purchased your studio, but we're kind of tired of waiting around for SW:TOR to be launched, and we're forcing it out in December. We know it isn't ready but we somehow have a ton of money and our pockets are getting a little full. We'll get back to you in about four years after the game is all but dead. Screw the last 9 years of development."

ive never had much use for firefoot pvp, or lotro pvp in general. 90% of the time people are miserable playing pvp and complaining leading to a negtive based area.
I enjoy farming toons for cosmetics, and def enjoy large groups who are just playing for fun, but even me, a person who doesnt care about pvp is absolutely dumbfounded that there has not been a single major update to the part of the game that keeps people into lotro.
When raids get boring, people will try the moors before they try another game during the wait period for new content. But turbine has failed in this.
Bioware has the balls to admit subs are down and they offer free xfers to keep people happy and pvp ques at a 0 wait time.
While i admit bioware probably hasnt cut its major game start up staff down to the maintenance phase that lotro is in, but is it so hard to make skirm instances pvp? Its already capture the flag stuff, why not make them timed pvp instances?
Ofcourse they wont, it takes too much time whoring the store out with dummies and coding cosmetics for noobs, and making sure people who have never raided a day in their life a FA and crystals to advance all weps.
Ofcourse ill be back from swtor for ror :-) because like anyone who loves/hates lotro, i am invested for life.

Apparently there's a revamp coming but I won't believe it until I see it.
Glad to hear you're enjoying SW:TOR.

I hope they do revamp it, it is such a draw for people when it comes to longevity.
I have 4 50s in swtor and am on my way to 5th. But ofcourse come sept we will all be right there in middle earth fighting over kills for quests :-)
RoR should give alot of options for different things to do with pvp, mounted combat (which if done well) could be a ton of fun, and even without an instance pack right away, there should be some scaled stuff to do.
But ofcourse, the continuation of the story is what im looking most forward to.

The PvMP community deserves something, that's for sure. It probably won't be a new map (which it should be), but an actual glance-over of objectives and maybe even the DoF would help.
Regardless, I'll let all of you have fun with RoR. I have no plans to come back - I just like checking in on the forums from time to time, especially when work is slow.
