Completely wrong. If I still had my account I'd take you up on this and do a comparison. I'd make a freep and go to max level and decent competitive gear/traits for the moors.......
.Oh wait I have on every freep class but one. It takes no where near as long to max a freep as a creep unless you are possibly brand new to the game. This is talking /played time...not consecutive days.
Now I realize there was just a new update and sure to get the best gear you might need to add a couple /played days at most. However, to get easily competitive it would take about /played in game time about 7 days total (add a couple if you really are slow). I did it over and over, and that isn't even the fastest others have done it. My creeps had way more time involved and were way less in rank than I got my freeps to. I just think you are a slow at leveling or have never really done this, like some of us, to really check it out. Heck, I could get my freep to level, geared, and to a higher rank than creep in much less played time so I don't know why you can't.

2> I believe (and here's where people who think I'm wrong dont understand) that creepside is an ENTIRELY different game. I think when people start talking about 1v1 balance or 24v24 balance, they've already missed the point. Creepside is not about going toe to toe with your opponent in a balanced PvP way. It's not chess, it's not PvP, it's not balanced. It's different.
I had a quick chat this AM to get an answer to the how long is the road map question. The road map is actually very long, but we break it down into 6-9 month blocks for review. At this time, within that window, there are no plans to add a new PvMP map.
Odd considering it was supposed to be released 2 years ago..
