    Re: 2 people online dissconnects

    this some times happens when 2 people are using the same internet connection to play lotro, you should be able to fix the problem

    browse to (my)documents\the lord of the rings online find userpreferences.ini and take a backup then open the orriginal in notepad

    find the followig lines
    ComputeUniquePort=True

    UserSpecifiedPort=0

    first check if ComputeUniquePort is set to True, if not change the false to true.. that should be all that is required
    if this is true already or you still experiece the same problem
    change UserspecifiedPort to a unique number on each pc id suggest numbers over 9000
    ie for one pc use
    UserSpecifiedPort=9000
    and the other
    UserSpefifiedPort=9001

    save and close the file

    and yes each person logging onto lotro neads to logon with their own account, if you share accounts the second person to logon will boot the first person from the game
