""Let me say that i believe (as a player) that the instance cluster price includes on pre order. Its really logical when you give 70 dollars and you expect all the content in the price. Also same happened on ROI so no worries for me there...""
After i read the forums the past 3 days. I am taking it back....
Cant believe i am the one saying this but really really disappointing turbine.
I said i ll be there until Sauron is defeated and i will stay true to that. But with this kind of marketing and management...the once amazing lotro hope it really reach the point to see Mordor. It might be the most amazing, awesome expansion riders of rohan!!! That won't change the fact of bad management and marketing sorry....
Just request a refund and they cannot deny it! It would be against the law!
No matter if it was a mistake or not! The fact is that they left it there for several days and people buying the preorder based on the info what was provided on the site, which included the Instance Cluster as said in the FAQ!
I will not be asking my money back
and I will see for myself first what we do
get for that $70.
Maybe the mounted combat will prove to
be enough for the expansion to *feel*
complete, maybe the warbands will prove
to *feel* like endgame-content.
But if it doesn't and we will still have to
cough up more dough for the instance-
cluster, this WILL be the last time I ever
pre-order...

The mounted combat is free to all players even those that dont buy the expansion. So you could request a refund, wait till it is released try the mounted combat and then just buy the expansion when you either know a lot more about what is coming or wait till it is on sale

With the lack of communication (Which is something I am used to as a Hunter) they have already disappointed hundreds of customers. I must say though, that Celestrata is doing a great job at answering as many questions as possible, /salute, but the marketing and general information of Rohan is one that has made me decide to ignore this...expansion...even though it only contains quests, and mounted combat is free.
I was on the fence about Rohan before the IC was removed and now...
$70 is a lot of money for a full game let alone for a bare bones expansion with very little in the way of perks.
A $30, $40 and $50 price structure with the IC included in all of them would've been more acceptable.
But it seems Turbine can't resist an opportunity to milk a few more bucks where they can.
And now the IC is removed...
I can afford to pay $70 but I HATE to feel I've been ripped off regardless of the amount.
And I've been feeling nickle and dimed by Turbine for some time now.
I have cancelled my VIP and as of June 16 it is done.
Turbine might have loaded one too many straws on this camels back.
I still have 14,000 TP so I can go a long time on that but I'll not spend a dime more of real money at Turbine until they change their business model to provide some thought to the customer.

Some say its all over ROI again (as far as it concerns expansions)
I liked RoI as a game but on this part they are wrong...it is worse.
RoI you gave 40 dollars? dont remember the legendary edition how much was it. Anyway and you were taking the quest pack and the IC
on RoR if you take into acount that war horses the complete acess of the region and epic are free. You give 70 dollars for a quest pack and pre-toys.... its insane. And not only that...They dont explain thoroughly what is the end game.I am not an end gamer fan to an extreme to complain... but this deal seems more of a rip off. And also the stance they are keeping its not to go and say later...surprise!! More its like: " come on buy the game as much as you can" before you know for sure what is contains what you bought"
I am so so so so glad i gave only 32 euros...if i had bought it for 70 i would hit my head on the wall right now :P

Actually they've answered the questio on end-game. On release the end-game will consist of the following;
- Solo instances (e.g. Defence of Galtrev is a solo instance)
- Repeatables (e.g. Limlight are repeatables, as are tasks)
- Building an outpost
- Fishing

Enjoy the new endgame people
Seeing the post for the new-end game, I am going to be excited to spend 10 hours a day to fish out an 85 First Age symbol for one of the dailies, of course, that is what the reward should be since it will be the end-game...won't it?

since fishing seems to be regarded as end game, could we please have legendary fishing rods with appropriate legacies improving my skills at fly-fishing etc?

They will deny it. They denied mine because I used the code. I heard back on Friday about it from Turbine's support team.
There was no concern that I was sold something that they are posting contradictory information about on official channels. All they focused on me using the code and that they couldn't undo that. In some circumstances I might be more understanding, but this isn't one o them.
I'm sorry, but when I used the code I wasn't under the impression that official sites listing the content of this expansion would be changed. I've said this elsewhere, but I'm willing to be sympathetic to this situation and I'm not going to dwell on it forever -- but my bank account doesn't give a ####. You took money under false pretenses and it doesn't matter to my wallet if it was intentional or unintentional.
Apparently the entire burden of proof is on the consumer. You simply cannot argue that people posting here aren't trying to be educated about their purchase. Half of the posts on here right now are people trying to figure out what the hell it is we're even buying. You might have a defense over people assuming about the contents of it, but changing your official information on it and saying "oops, sorry!" after taking $40 to $70 from people immediately? That's unacceptable from anyone.
I escalated it to Paypal. I just want my money back. Turbine can take the time to purge my account of this stuff, I really don't care. Maybe eventually I'll put it back into the game (overall I really like it and I think the expansion sounds neat for what's in it), but this is just bogus.

The burden isn't on you as they have admitted their error.
I fully expect that it will be announced that all pre-orders will have the IC included.
It's the only direction I can see open to them.
It's not only that it was stated in the FAQ either = even without the FAQ error I would be upset over excluding the endgame IC from an endgame expansion.
Turbine powers that be just need to get their heads around this and it will be announced the IC is included for all.
Anything less would be masochistic on their part.

Anyone else see the title of the thread and immediately think of the Goonies quote when they're in the wishing well and one of the kids starts grabbing up coins and says "Yeah, but you know what? This one, this one right here. This was my dream, my wish. And it didn't come true. So I'm taking it back. I'm taking them all back."?
