im 75 i have good jewellery (GR,craft, etc) but i did not buy the insntaces of isengard (no tps, and no method to buy) so i need an alternative to get medallions and buy the galtrev set
what can i do?(i did a skirmish and only 6 medallions :S)
there actually isn't much besides skims without the RoI pack raid skirms give more then solo skirms but that really is the only way to get a decent amount. The other option is to do all of the older content that has been updated anything that can be leveled above 65 will give you medallions and maybe even some seals. The other option I would suggest is deeding low level toons until you can aford RoI then you will have so many medallions you wont have a use for half of them. Just the starting area quest deeds then check if you are close to any of the slayer deeds do them and recreate the toon couple of hours and you have a couple of hundred tp. The game is set up you can either spend money or time, so if you can't spend money you either need to grind tp or medallions.
What do you need Draigoch armor for if you're not doing raids/other group endgame content? Why isnt teal-crafted armor good enough for your soloing?
Its kind of a self-correcting problem....if you do raids, then you need raid gear, and you acquire raid gear by doing raids. If you dont do raids, then you cant acquire raid gear, but you dont need to.
to start with, for a "good" (there is no comparison with the set of galtrev) craft set its need sigil that is a rare objet, the way is buy it by medallons, so there you have medallons.
and i do instances... i have not the new ones, but i do the others in lvl 75, or i like to try skirmishs t3, and a good set is a good way to achive all this
i dont think that your answer diserves mys but there you go
I assume that you have the Great River quest pack if you have the GR jewellery, so running the Roots of Fangorn 6-man instance would be an alternative. It is quite a bit harder than the Isengard instances but does give seals and medaillons as well as spider eggs (which you can convert into seals that you can convert into medaillons), and the ratio at which you can earn currency in there should be higher than with the scaleable instances (Great Barrows, Fornost, Annuminas).
If you don't have the Roots of Fangorn instance the scaleable 6-mans (and possibly the Helegrod raid, although it can be difficult to find enough fellows for those instances these days) are probably your best source of medaillons, followed by the scaleable 3-mans and lastly skirmishes (the larger the group size the more medaillons you will get), but all of these don't give nearly as many medaillons per time as the Isengard instances do I'm afraid, so it will take some time for you to get enough medaillons for the four armour pieces.

Wow that came off as unneccesarily condescending....
You dont need raid sets to do skirms. I run T3s easily with just a set of teal crafted. And you dont need a whole lot of medallions to buy Rhi Helvarch Sigils. They cost, what, 600 marks and 60 medallions? If you do all your encounters, you'll earn 60 medallions by the time you've earned 600 marks, so you dont need to specifically grind for medallions.
Plus, you can get Sigils by harvesting ore/wood nodes in Dunland and Great River, and of course you can buy them on the AH for a reasonable price. You only need maybe 8 altogether - 6 for your armor, plus maybe 2 for jewellery, since you'll probably still be using mostly LG and Riders/Dunland rep jewellery.
Regardless, if you're doing L75 instances, you should be earning medallions pretty much as fast as anyone else. Its not like the Isengard instances give you medallions at 10x the rate of everything else.
I picked up a relatively large number of medallions running the first three of the new Fornost instances last night. Wasn't tremendously difficult for my fellowship at 64, although a couple of the bosses had surprises in store for us.
