Thread: Hey, I wanted to try this server.

Someone said on Imladris forums(sorry can't remember name) that this server was small/with few action pvp wise and said he'd like a merge to fix this problem, so I decided to roll a greenie, get to 10 and make a creep. I first made my greenie lvl 10 champion called lolwut, and tried with some global channels that I know of(fyi, Imladris uses glff isntead globallff), on non-peak hours we see a min. of 50 people on Imladris and I was very surprised to see only 9 here(I even thought that wasn't the right one and asked if it was correct), then someone told me(again can't remember name, sorry) that this was an EU server and most of you were sleeping. I hit lvl 10 and went to MP, made a WL called Nubhealer(like my defiler on Imladris) and started exploring. Asked a few times in OOC if there was anyone but noone answered, tried to run into a bunch of freeps but couldn't see any, it was about 9pm server time.

So my conclusions:
Yes to the merge! I think if we merge, when USA players sleep EU players will play and vice-versa.
I don't like big servers, I don't even think my PC can handle them(I tried E and Brandy), so I'm more attracted to small ones, though the bad thing of it it's the no-action hours where you get so bored you start PvEing(not my case, I'd rather do something else).

I also noticed WW's situation is worst than Imladris, since there's always some people roaming around at night time in pvp.


So, I'd like to try some pvp here, Imladris is getting a bit old, want to kill and be killed by new faces.

PS: Can someone tell me what's the usual time 'action' is going on?

It isnt the Players decision to merge servers.
And from what Turbine said so far,they dont plan any merges,cross nations are very unlikely aswell.

As for when the action happens,as you noticed it isnt very active around here,i would say your best shot is from 15-16pm till around midnight. That are ofc EU timzones.

I know it isn't players decision and I know Turbine won't merge servers, just saying It'd be nice, like all the stuff people post in pvmp forums and Turbine ignores.
