I would very much like an ETA for fix of the bouncy weapons
I get slight motion sickness from the bouncing weapon and the properly fixed weapon glow.
An estimated time of fix arrival would be super nice!
EDIT Just...quick fix as soon as possible? Fix whenever next update bundle is ready? A week? Another month?Last edited by Macroscian; Jun 08 2012 at 04:42 PM.

Re: I would very much like an ETA for fix of the bouncy weapons
well, not Monday.
I doubt you will see an official ETA (prove me wrong), but look for it in the next patch imo.A spaceship from another star / They ask me where all the people are
I tell them I'm the only one / There was a war, but I must have won

I tried setting everything but Draw Distance to minimum, that made everything ugly but the effect is less stressing.

Re: I would very much like an ETA for fix of the bouncy weapons
Have you tried zooming out? I know it's not ideal, and won't help in tight places. But it may help to reduce the amount/speed of the bouncing object by making it less noticable. Don't know if it will help, but worth a shot.

Re: I would very much like an ETA for fix of the bouncy weapons
Sorry for the time taken to reply, had work today. I fiddled with many settings, doesn't make it much less distracting =)
I can still play and enjoy the game, just such an oddity where an update has game content and ends up messing with the character models. The fat hobbits were fixed immediately, unsure why this slipped.
Psst! While at it, can we get fresh face models for human F characters, please?

Re: I would very much like an ETA for fix of the bouncy weapons
Anyone have FRAPS?
please make a quick video of this:
- log on a hunter with a legendary bow equipped.
- mount up
- start riding
- swivel camera angle so you are recording the video looking at the mounted hunter from the side
with video evidence perhaps the devs will see it's really happening

That said, someone already did videos of the issue. You can find them and some screenshots in one of the other threads about this issue.Last edited by Jadzi; Jun 09 2012 at 09:59 PM.

That was June 8, and it had been about a month. Now it's June 23. Perhaps i missed some quick fix and it's a local machine problem for me but I still see the weapon go boing-boing-boing.

It'll get fixed about the same time they manage to fix the lag issues and the log in issues for people in So-Cal....

And...now it's July 24. No word, no fix.
Motion sickness.
Happily I have yet another week away from t'internets but I had some hopes past two weeks would have seen an ETA.

It was posted as a fix in the last update notes, and it was fixed in the last update/patch.
But it would be nice to know: Are you still experiencing the effect while in-game, now?
I personally didn't have a huge problem with the bouncy weapon; however, as others have said many times it was a bug, made them quit, gave them sickness, caused anger and accusations of hatred towards loyal players, etc. But it was fixed and gravity does now comply. So is it not a complete fix for all players and you are still seeing it?
