Thread: Gilrain Lottery (Version Something-or-other)

Hey Gilrain!

I wanted a new lottery roll and have spoken to Nox /Pippox who usually organises these things. He said I should just go for it. I hope I can run this as smoothly as he has in the past.

I'm sure most of you who enter the lottery will know remember the rules of the past five lotteries but I will post them just to be sure there are no mix-ups. Please read carefully to avoid confusion.

This is how it will work: If you wish to enter the lottery, please post in reply to this thread. Please also send the correct amount of money to my character Sabriella. The money from the entries will be the eventual winnings. Please note that you will only receive money back if you win the lottery. In one week I will group as many entrants of the lottery as I can. This will be Friday, June 15th at approximately 18:00 British Summer Time. I will screenshot the /roll as evidence that nobody is getting fiddled out of their easily earned ingame gold and I'll get others in the raid to do the same.

I hope lots of people get involved in this. You don't have to know me or even be friends with me in game to enter but if there is a low uptake, let's say for example if only 30 numbers are taken, then the eventual /roll will be out of 30.

THE DETAILS:
1) To enter, please reply to this thread telling my the name of the character with whom you wish to win the gold.

2) You may enter 5 times but it will be chronological. I myself will enter 5 times, and will therefore have numbers 1 - 5. If the next person to enter was Smartbean and he asked for 3 numbers, he will be given number 6, 7 and 8.

3) The entry cost is 1 gold per number. When you have sent me the ingame gold and replied to this thread with the name of your character, I will update the thread and give you your number(s).

If you're not sure who I am and are wondering if I am a dodgy person who will take your gold and run for the hills... well I suppose you're gonna have to have a bit of faith!

As previously mentioned, I will take the first 5 numbers and I'm also going to sweeten it somewhat by putting 10g of my money into the lottery pot. Nox has also kindly offered to contribute 10g. Therefore the starting jackpot is 25g.

Well thank you very much to everyone who participated and contributed, I was really pleased with the number of numbers bought. I tried to invite everyone who bought a number, though there were very few people online at 18:00 BST. So we rolled anyway!



The total jackpot was 185g, what with all of the many extra contributions from the various people I've mentioned in this thread and a few people who contributed to the lottery pot without actually wishing to be part of the roll.
