    Angry A Question @Turbine

Why the Hell is in the Heroic Edition Evendim, Moria, and Lothlórien Quest Packs included and in the Legendary Edition is this Questpacket not included?! Are you serious ?

The Legendary Edition should include all from the Basic and Heroic Edition......

I'm thinking the same thing right now.

    Re: A Question @Turbine

Without any explanations from Turbine, this is only my guess for why the packages are structured that way, but...

Last time with RoI there were complaints that there was "nothing for the Lifetime subscribers to buy", or people who already had the quest packs offered in the options were asking for the TP they spent to be refunded since they did not want to be "forced" to buy the same thing twice.

Now, I think the RoI offerings were pretty good. Even if you had the quest packs, there were Turbine Points and lots of other goodies for you. Sure, it was a better deal for people who did not have the quest packs already, but that just made it great incentive for newer players to jump in.

This time around, Turbine admits they are still testing out different ways to structure the expansion packages. The Legendary, to me, seems aimed squarely at people with high level characters who are and plan to remain VIP (or who have already purchased all the other expansions/quest packs). If you are not VIP and don't have all the packs, Heroic might be the better choice for you. This provides an option for people who don't want to "repurchase" any content, but I don't think it works out overall in comparison.

Looking at all the ways to buy LOTRO and its expansions now, and again this is only a guess, it seems that a new player might be best off getting the new Steam Starter Pack, followed by the RoI Legendary Edition, and the Rohan Basic Edition, depending on how far they have progressed and how long they plan to stay with the game. I don't know if this is how the Turbine marketing folk see it and I may have missed something somewhere, but that seems logical when I look at the big picture.

What people who have purchased a scattershot of expansions or quest packs here and there are meant to do, I'm not sure. Feel free to let me know if I missed something big.

I wish that hauberk was included with the armor in the legendary edition. Just a bit of electronic pixels that costs Turbine basically nothing extra, but would give more options for cosmetics looks. Not all of my characters are heavy armor types.
