Which one was your favorite? Generations was a bit cheesy but that crash landing of the Enterprise was F'n awesome.

"Galaxy Quest" was my favorite Star Trek movie

I tell them I'm the only one / There was a war, but I must have won

    Re: Star Trek

I would say that I liked the TNG movies more or less in the order that they were made: First Contact - Generations - Insurrection - Nemesis (although having Kirk and Picard in the same film may edge Generations up a bit).

******* spoilers below this line *********

Personally, I thought Nemesis was horrible, which was really a shame considering that it was the last one made. One thing that always bothered me is that Data's death in Nemesis is inconsistent with the TNG finale: "All Good Things ..." where he is alive and well in the future.

Wasn't B4 supposed to turn into a new Data?

I like First contact the best. (And the alternate version of the landing from Enterprise )

As if in answer there came from far away another note. Horns, horns, horns. In dark Mindolluin's sides they dimly echoed. Great horns of the North wildly blowing. Rohan had come at last.

First Contact and Nemisis were my two favorites out of that list.

The Wrath of Khan still pwns them all though. Undiscovered Country and the Voyage Home are also old favorites.

Liked the recent movie quite a bit.

Agree with both. I think Generations was my favorite of the TNG movies, I can't even remember Insurrection or Nemesis.

    Re: Star Trek

My favorite scene of all the movies was in ST III when the Enterprise arrived at a starbase and the people at the club looked out the window at all the battle damage in disbelief.

Sigh... LOTR geeks talking in a Star Trek geeks thread... (hides in corner)

My favorite Star Trek is the last season of DS9. It had everything.

My favorite episode from that season was "It's Only a Paper Moon" which would probably slip under the radar of the vast majority of fans but was an episode I found very touching and emotional. Not exactly the sort of emotions/themes I generally associate with Star Trek.

    Re: Star Trek

Nemesis was my favorite of TNG movies. I would have loved First Contact if they'd picked a different actor and different music for the launch and as examples of "Rock and Roll". Oobie Doobie? ### is that?

i probably liked first contact the best. havnt seen the newest one yet. the new online game STO is a bit complicated. battlestar galactica online is better for that sort of game. My whole family are trekkies, we've watched all the series except the originals. DS9 is my fav hands down. the defiant rocks!

Quark rules. I love the episode where he explained greed to the Prophets.

Sorry but these movies are junk compared to the series.

Let's hope they never make DSN movies.

Three cheers and +rep for you. Finally, someone else who appreciates this great episode! If you sent me to a desert island with only one DVD choice, I would take DS9 7th season for sure.
