    Tilting at windmills

Hopefully certain people understand the following:

Yes, I most occasionally Don Quixote myself on here, to deaf ears on a certain side and people that generically don't understand how to RvR, or why to do so.

Tough. You think I'm gonna stop? You think if I get warned enough that I can't post? Is that why you can't stand me?

Or am I too vocal for you that you want me silenced? Or am I too honest and well.. blunt?

I mention people on here by name instead of quoting them, and they complain, because they have seran-wrap-thin-skin. And so you get a warning, or an infraction. Fine by me. Complain away. It's hilarious that you do so given what YOU are allowed to proceed with behind your half-anonymous forum account(s).

This post is going to be deleted once someone complains because nobody wants to listen to criticism in this game, either good or bad.. or *gasp* actually LEARN something from someone else, regardless of how they feel about em or what's being said.

Take your freep-goggles off, or your creepside ones, for ONCE and don't get so danged angry and PLAY. LISTEN. LEARN something. Gain a different perspective.

    Getting zerged? THEN ZERG UP.
Like to solo or small group? Find a small corner of the map to fight-club at. Or Candy Mountain. Just switch it up frequently so you don't GET zerged. Or god forbid small groups fight over outposts instead of raids fighting raids for keeps. PM yourselves on a daily basis as to where to be if you want some solo-action.. use 3-rd party websites or voice-comms and keep it private. If it leaks, so be it.. be more selective in your 1v1's or your 6v6 or whatever it may be. There's resources out there if you actually want to change things instead of COMPLAIN ALL THE TIME.

Don't want to do this/that? Tough. That's the state of the moors. Quit complainin' either on here or in OOC about the state of things, or about what the other side is doing. DEAL WITH IT. GET OVER IT.

Otherwise, MOVE ON like most of ya'll are planning(and thank GOD too).

One thing ya'll CAN NOT and WILL NOT EVER accomplish is to limit what Turbine allows in the moors. You're tilting at windwills as much as I am.

    That is all.

Don Quixote is really not someone to model yourself on. Like, he was insane.

Like the message, but the delivery is a little like getting hit in the face with a paddle.

Did Sally say something? All I'm hearing is an angry rant drowning out what might have been a good message.

To be fair, he's only a little bit crazy in the beginning....he's aware of his decent into madness. In the first half he ardently imposes himself on his environment, and it isn't until later when he makes a name for himself that he begins to relax his hold (stops revising history, as it were). At the end he has a much better grip on reality and fully regains his sanity on his deathbed.

What a perfect analogy of the moors

I'd say it's more like a kindergarten playground in Chernobyl before the looming disaster.

I've learned to embrace my quixotic nature. (yeah it's a word...and a great one at that...and no it's not pronounced like Don Quixote)

Better to be a dreamer of better things than be someone who just accepts the mediocre. IMHO anyhow.

In an open PvMP zone, what you describe above is collusion not soloing.

    Those aren't 1v1s. They're arranged dual farming.

    No thanks.

As for complaining see my post above.

According to community doctrine, farming alts for "whatever" is bad, standing in a circle bowing to each other as you trade inf/renown is not.

Just thought I would clear that up for you
