Good questions. I would assume the time limit is simply, first to make it to 5 Stars, wins.

Grouping should be a big no no, especially raiding. Can't control what people out of group do to save lives of course. Though I would imagine any freep with an ounce of sense would know not to toss a heal to the burg lest they be steamrolled next. I know I won't be helping them out.

I would assume it's just a do whatever it takes sort of thing. I expect there will be a lot more greenie farming than usual, if that's even possible.

Nice thing is it will be pretty difficult for someone to hide whatever shady tactics they may use to get there. So if someone does just sit in the back of a raid lapping up the points, it will be known and they can be mocked relentlessly for it. XD

I imagine some might end up pretty pissed if they lose to someone who farmed in a raid, while they busted their hump to get there legitimately.

Oh I'm not a betting woman. I was talking with Karine yesterday saying even if Bonnie was in any condition to go to the Moors, I wouldn't do it. I've never been good at hugging. I agree, it's boring. Just ask MMM about all the times I let him kill me because I refused to stunlock.

Just knowing your abilities, I have faith you could do it quickest you really wanted, since you have little problem destroying most opponents. Being a weaker burg will make it a more difficult task if all they have are greenies to farm and gank and run tactics.

Eh, I'll heal any and all freeps that will need it regardless of who it is, except in 1v1's. Always.

It was a joke. Sort of. I toss heals indiscriminately as well, but in the case of the hunted huggers, it will be extra dangerous. You're just begging to be ruined if you get caught.

The lowbie part is probable, but camping rezzes is never good when you are trying not to die. You will ALWAYS get called out and more often than not ungrouped players will show up in numbers. Even if you HIPs out, there are players that hide out of combat just to track and get the kill. That being said, you should be safe from the rez camping burgs in that contest.

Careful what you wish for, the one thing this server dosent have is rabid warg packs. Snoop around some other servers, freeps have it pretty dam easy on ridder.

So just a few minutes ago as i was getting ready to log for the night, i was standing by stab unstealthed when i noticed a burg sneaking around me. Forget the name but he was rank 0, and i could tell he was debating wether to attack or not. Well eventually he went for it, it didnt' go well for him, but i applaud him not camping hh or something for rank 0's (which is what i did my first time on my burg in the moors haha). I know said burg you speak of, and I assumed he was in on the contest as an alt of a freep. My 4 man group rolled up on him outside lugs near wtab and xroads. We had him tracked, he knew it, so he unstealthed on us, and did his best to kill one of us. Again, it went poorly for him, but props for the effort.

Contest has been postponed according to Karine due to IRL stuffs with 3/6 burgs that have said they're competing

Sharpen your blades, my fellow burglars, because the tournament is starting in less than two days!

Going to be a ~big moneymaker~ for Turbine with the rush on trackers. I hope they are well stocked!

At least I know who not to count on for help freepside!

Sounds like someone died in a PvP zone. Sorry! Had to.

While that might be kind of lame behavior if it happened, no rules were really set for this contest in the first place. I tried to point out something like this could happen, that someone might win using what someone else views as less than honourable tactics and there could be upset. As no rules were set about what is and is not fair in the contest, I don't really think you can fault people for doing whatever it takes and deny them a win. As horrible as it is, realistically, a burg could just dual box and farm a creep they roll because no rule was set against it.

There have been all kinds of "naughty" behavior from burgs to win. Burgs that join raids, burg packs, low morale ganks, etc (of course, that's mostly normal burg behavior anyway ). It seems this contest was established as a free for all. Likewise, creeps are doing whatever they can to make burg's lives miserable as well.

All burgs who are participating agreed to the contest as it was created, no rules for how to reach that 5 star status. It's unfair to back out now since it's what was agreed to. If someone is to back out from paying, they should be backing out completely from the contest.

Just some thoughts from an impartial observer.

My money is still on Giggle, if he doesn't snap mentally first.

When you least expect it, said reaver will rush out and get the kb on whatever burg we find, lowering ratings to broken soul levels.

He never touched me until I went into TA huh? Then why is he chasing me through the outside NPCs in the first SS with you?

I honestly don't know what to say to that because you're trying to deny what the screenies show. If not, then poor choice of words.

What about the time when you popped your brand & TnG to kill my rank 5 WL? My defiler? The night you repeatedly brought your group to the cows because you knew I had been farming them and you wanted to *gank* me after my *1v1s* with them? Are you the only person allowed to play like a pos? Because I haven't brought any of this up until you called out someone else for doing the exact thing you do.
