Figured I'd make this, since no one else seems to be doing it
Pretty much just posting all of your moments where you went "Oh how shameful creeps" or something or other Should be exciting, since forum pvp has died
So last night (June 5th) I had the worst of creeps. 15 creeps and there were like 2-3 visible freeps at TR, and not a single creep pushed in. The entire fight mainly consisted of me pulling npc's, me fighting the npc's, me burning CD's on npc's, and lastly, me waiting to heal before fighting more NPC's Luckily the other 14 or so followed around waiting for freeps to show up, so when volo came out (haii volo!) and his "Avengers" tried to stop us, we didn't get wiped, but it did take every1 nearly 30 seconds to start fighting freeps and not kill-stealing my loot (funny, but after a while, EVERYONE was running around tabbing for blue names to grab once they got pulled, and then running away for some funny reason....)
It took 30 minuted to get to all the first marshals outside the CG, and again, people pulled it and ran while I made sure it didn't reset because NO ONE would push until I got 25meters ahead of them safely. Actually the first marshals respawned TWICE because auto attack is so useful.
before it happeneded again, and before Turbine muted me for yelling at creeps in ooc so much, I just pulled the CG and had it alone for about 30 more seconds until a WL came and started healing me and I dunno why, but it took the others about a minute or two. Oh, and a first marshal re appeared (wargs pulled the ones next to CG earlier, and it was this one) which surprisingly died 1st i think, and freeps came back and started eating us up, but we actually took the CG down However I forgot it was my loot =( And we all died and rage-logged the end
And that's the story of how TR stayed blue...
Grishgashr: Volo? Hes no way not a troll, Spidey may be but no one really pays attention to him
Good, someone started this thread. I'll make it clear from the start that playing with people you've never played before can be both frustrating and rewarding at the same time. The Avengers is basically a raid group of people (led by me) who actually want to learn to focus fire on healers and primary targets and use skills to achieve the kill before the expected help arrives (bubbles, defiler SW,etc) I was bombarded with tells about joining the group but I made it clear to people that it's a fellowship atm and it's currently full. Once creeps started to pick up numbers, I expanded and we never had more than 12. Take into account that people whose playstyle differs from mine weren't ready for pushing and focus firing. Therefore, I wasn't happy over all with our performance last night knowing that we could have picked up more kills than we did. I do hail the creeps who came out in force and gave me a hell of an adversity to pvp through. When I saw that Milt joined Rhnyin's raid, I knew it was on!
As a result, don't expect people to do something they're not used to. It takes time, maybe a little nudge to get them all going. Perhaps, you yelling in ooc achieved just that, or maybe it didn't. At least, after all, you tried!
I only formed a raid because freeps were pushing and dominating creeps. It seems like thats most of what PVP has become, even worse than before. One side just pushes the other side around until they log or flip to join the 'winning' side. I'm hoping that if leadership steps up on both sides this can be corrected. Continue to lead your groups volo. Show them how to fight but ALSO take them to some alternate locations. I've decided to start leading raids a little more. Its been over 2 years since I've done it and I think my son can sleep through me giving directions and instructions. If freeps push and wipe, I'll return the favour. I hope they do the same. I'm going to try and have an OPEN raid once a week, Tues. or Thurs. Have your voice activated, listen to instructions, and don't be afraid to die and we'll all have a blast. I also hope to end each raid by killing they mayor and as many hobbits as I can. I may be overly optimistic, but I think with the right leadership (not saying me or volo exclusively, (Milt led for a few min. last night) Nimrodel can have a better PVP culture.
Oh yeah, to respond to the original thread, hiding in NPC's with numbers and waiting for other side to pull is the foundation of this 'wall of shame' that you speak of. Both sides do it!
Nonsense, I had much more foundations than that in my story. Like hitting an NPC and running before said meeps lose precious morale, for one
I gotta admit, open raids v raids would be interesting... we'd definitely need both sides having good leaders tho
And volo mine were 100x worse, but really a nice job all through out the day. Creep OOC was going frantic trying to stop you and that other group that was trying to flip a keep And Rhynin too, nice job with that group lol

10 vs 1 for an hour in EC is fun and all, but when a warg pack of 8+ start trying to cut me off so I can't even have EC, to even try to have a chance, it kind of ruins it
Edited for my poor grammar that is still horrendous.
Wall of Shame sounds a little harsh.......here's how you deal with it properly:
First, convince yourself that you are weak. That way, you can justify sitting around a conglomerate of "friendlies" while you wait for the water to trickle down the pipe.
Second, remind yourself that you are always outnumbered. This allows your mind to rationally determine the reasons why you decide to stay inside TA.
Third, constantly inform yourself that the Ettenmoors is REAL. If you die, you will actually die in real life!
Fourth, never...ever be the first person to engage a fight. Always wait for the action to come to you. This reduces effort, in hense; allowing more time to talk about how your weak, and outnumbered.
Fifth, remember that your opposistion is always a bunch of easymoding noobs. And, everybody knows that the best counter to easymoding noobs is to be an even easiermoding noob! Think of a staring contest. Don't be the first to blink, that is exactly what the easymoders want you do to.
Sixth, drink lots of beer. It makes it easier to gulp all the bullcrap I just typed up.
If anybody else has any other ways in how to deal with Shameproperly, please post it up!

Am I going to get in trouble for flaming my own grammar?
