When you do a group, does every player use their Skirmish Soldier? I have done solo Captain and I have to admit trying to keep track of both my Herald and Soldier is tough but I am doing main fighting.
If you do a Skirmish as a group, do all toons have to be in the same world location as a Fellowship before lauching the Skirmish or is there some other method of joining a group effort?
Siege of Gondamon
Has anyone running this skirmish ever defeated Ghashnâkh or Sigurmar? I have run it solo but finding these guys is a pain in the armor.

Yes. When you do a skirmish on raid size, this means 12 People, 12 Soldiers plus whatever Pets/Heralds LMs and Captains have. Yes, it's as crazy as it sounds.

No. The leader opens the instance, everyone else clicks start and teleports right into it from wherever they were before. Once skirmish is finished, you end up back where you were. Most instances and all raids also work the same way.

The worst answer you can get - it's really random. Personally, within the first four runs I knocked out 4 of 5 encounters. But to get the last one? I had to run the skirmish up to 22 times total.
Yes, everyone can use their own skirmish soldier. No, all toons don't have to be in the same area, but do need to be in a fellowship, unless you use the instance finder. The two gondomon bosses you are talking about are outside the north or south gate when they spawn; north gate - to the west, south gate - the east. Both are really close to the wall. If you have "select target" keymapped to the tab key, just push that to find them.
Yes to one soldier per player, no to have to be in same area, as others have commented.
One of the reasons why those two encounters are hard to find is that they don't ALWAYS announce. If you get to end of third phase and you have only seen one encounter then it is well worth checking outside the north or south gate ( you are unlikely to have enough time to check both before you need to run to Mathi).
Are you doing this with your capt? and if so, what is your capt pet?
Reason I ask is capt are better off going healing than dps at low levels since you can't get ur ghost until 56 or 58..On my capt I have a sage, she is amazing. She is high tactical damage and debuff her targets.

Captain has been Red traited using Herald of Hope (I prefer the buffs over War right now) first with a Herbalist Soldier but changed to Sage after reading another topic. Since the Sage change, battles go much faster with the Captain getting few shots in unless a LT or Boss so I guess the Sage is working better though it is hard to tell when she is doing anything. I may have to make the Soldier the Shield Brother, seems to take more damage than the Herald, sometimes an enemy will run past me, the Herald and others to target the Soldier. Not sure how many HoH traits I have, one last I knew and two Class slots. I am trying to get a couple of Yellow line traits.
The Multiplayer questions are because I would look to try that soon and I also have my Burglar to use now, I tried getting others in Fellowships for Quests before to try simple FMs but never got anyone. Probably will choose Bannerguard for him as his first Soldier. He is QK traited, no MM traits yet and has only 2 Gambler traits.

If you go into a Skirmish as a group and someone does something for a Deed like defeat a Special Encounter single handed or kill a mob that is on someone's Slayer Deed, does it count for everyone or only the one player?

Everything counts for everyone. Lieutenant slayer deeds, normal slayer deeds, skirmish random boss mob deeds, the works.
What is the purpose of extra Attribute slots? A Sage I have now has a second slot in this but I cannot put anything in, only have Herbalist and Warrior right now.

The additional attribute slots are for cosmetics, which you can purchase at the Cosmetic vendor at each skirmish camp. The first cosmetic slot has to be a race/gander (as the remaining cosmetic require a race/gender to be slotted). If you are satisfied with the default appearance, then you don't need to do anything.

I don't recall the name, but it might be one of them.
I think it is the encounter when it says something along the lines of,"Gondamon will burn!" or "Gondamons walls will soon be nothing but little pieces!"
You go out the north gate and as soon as you get outside the gate, turn left into the corner.
If you have a group of different levels, what is a good guideline for setting the Level and Tier of an Instance/Raid/Skirmish? I know some announce what they are looking for but I have found myself a couple of times in groups with varying Levels.

No more than four above your lowest DPSer.

after +4 levels it gets much worse.
A healing class or buffer (burg/captain) doesn't need to be as high level, as they can use heals and buffs regardless (less true for burgs than captains).
An example would be the Helegrod Giant wing we did recently set to level 50. Two of our healers were in their 40s. One DPSer was 46, everyone else ranged higher into the low 60s.
In general you want the tank to be highest level, off tank next down, DPS no lower than four below, and healers can be lowest level of the group. That way everyone is less likely to pull threat from the tank, even if they play poorly.
