Bilbo Baggins was not a great warrior. Neither was Frodo. Epic characters made their way into the stories, but those stories were never about the already amazing people doing amazing things. They are about the average person thrust into unusual and dire situations and how their traits and talents, so different from the warriors they fight alongside of, make big differences in the outcome of conflict.

Commonfolk is a medium/heavy RP kinship that focuses on bringing that "common folk" flavor back to the Landroval server.

We are a network of RPers who play the ordinary characters. That being said, the out-of-ordinary can certainly happen, but it is not the focus of our kinship. There are plenty of epic kinships out there. What is lacking on our server is the everyday and we hope to provide a space for RPers who long for a little realism.

Keeping our goals in mind, we hope to provide fun events, random RP and good interactions with everyone desiring it, kin-affiliated or not. And it is our hope that one day people will see the "Commonfolk" tag and know they can approach a person and strike up some good RP.

Our kinship has no IC affiliation. We use kinchat as a means to bond, plan events and endeavors and coordinate RP. This means that getting into the kinship to try it out is very easy. We do filter people out who don't seem to fit, as it is a strong belief of ours that kinships are built by the people that make it up, but we are pretty laid back and accepting of different RP styles, so this rarely occurs.

This is an easy-going RP kinship that focuses on individual character development and encourages its members to share their creativity through the characters they play, the stories they write, the art they produce and much, much more!
