Thread: Runs the LotRo on Lenovo Ideapad Y580 with max settings?

Hello. I want to buy a new laptop(Lenovo Ideapad Y580) and i want to run LotRo with max settings. I see this notebook, and looks good. My question, that would LotRO run on this device with max settings(on raids i would like playing on at least high graphics)? And my next question: RPM on HDD is relevant for gaming? 5400 is enough or should be higher?

The laptops specs are the following:
Name: Lenovo IdeaPad y580
CPU: Intel Core i7 3610QM(quad, 2,3-3,3GHz)
Memory: 4Gb 1600MHz (but i can buy if i should)
HDD: 750Gb - 5400RPM
Resolution: HD(1920x1080)
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M 2Gb

I made the VirtualPC on the linked site ( www.community.futuremark.com ), and the result was:

Processor: Intel Core i7-3610QM | 3DMarkStore: 5840(CPU)
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M | 3DMakStore: 2240(GPU)
Motherboard: (random)ASUS G75VWSelect |
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Total, Result: | 3DMarkStore: 2330 (Total)

Thats not problem if nobody have this notebook, but if anyone have got near this combination of hardware, thats would be fine! e.x: If anybody have got Nvidia Geforce GTX 660M, plz post here which graphics settings do u use!

Yeah, I'm having the same question, except looking at the ASUS G75 with similar components. Anyone have some advice/experience with the 660M and LOTRO raiding?
