Guys, I don't know what's going on with the forums, but on IE it doesn't work properly at all at the moment. When on Google Chrome (a browser I don't like to use) it works better. In general: when I log in, I get the login screen AGAIN. When I press Forums at the top of the screen I can continue.
Please fix the forums?

The same thing happened to me using both IE and Firefox. At first I didn't realise that the login had actually worked, but before I was prepared to type in my login details a second time, I decided to check the forums just in case it was some hacking scam to steal our login details. Then I noticed that I was actually logged in anyway.
I mostly use Chrome and IE9 (although I do use FF too at work), and the forums have been giving me tons of "Bad Request" (400) errors for weeks now. It's extremely aggravating. If I don't do a Ctrl-A/Ctrl-C on my post before I press Save, there's at least a 50% chance I'm going to lose it.
This all gets even worse if I force a full refresh of the page, because it averages at least 3 Bad Request errors on various elements on the page, seemingly at random. It fails to fetch images, Javascript files, style sheets, etc, resulting in all sorts of ugliness or bizarre behavior.
Update: I tried removing all Turbine cookies once again, and this time it seems to have made a difference. 3 posts in a row without Bad Request errors is some sort of record for me recently.

That's currently the only work-around, and it seems to be a far more common issue with vB than most people realize. What is probably compounding it is that Turbine's implementation towards MyLOTRO and the Account servers is probably driving a lot of returning 400s.
The biggest issue with the cookie removal is that it's a very temporary thing, it'll probably start coming back after your 4th or 5th visit to the forums.

Found Your Problem But Why not use Chrome? or maybe Firefox??
Firefox is worse than the other two, for me personally. I still use it for the Adblock. You've got the right idea though. IE works best for Pandora (but the ads are horrible.) Chrome is the only browser that won't crash on a Tumblr archive...
From what ive seen recently response time on the board had at least tripled, im not sure when I noticed that it had gotten so bad but if i remember right for me it started after they turned on IPV6. more addresses means more time to resolve an address, this might not be the reason but to me it seems to be contributory
While i am at it posting has become a nightmare sometimes i can post fine and other times i get a page can not be displayed error refreshhing the page seems to work but swomething is causing issues.
