didn't care for it actually. Felt like teen bubble gum pop nonsense. I've never much cared for vampire stories- the exception being Dracula ( the one with Gary Oldman). I do remember liking some of the sillier movies like Monster Squad as a kid.
I did like Harry Potter but am utterly convinced that Rowling was getting paid by the page by the end of the series.
I also remember reading Jane Yolen's Dragon books as a kid as well (Dragon's Blood, Hearts Blood, and A Sending of Dragons).
Barbara Hambley (spelling) wrote some pretty entertaining Star Wars books some years back. Mary Stewart's Merlin books are probably still my favorite novels about King Arthur, with Cornwell's books right after hers.
