Thread: Character sheet widget broken?

The Character Sheet widget has stopped working, I think since update 7. None of the gear shows up, it's just grey slots. The rest of the information is there, such as health and other stats. This is the same no matter which character I select. Is this broken for everyone or just my account?

It's not just yours... and as far as I remember it has been a 'feature' since update 7 was introduced.

Mine is broken as well. As been for a long while now. No idea what caused it or why it happened, but there it is.

Interestingly, it seems to be a problem on the my.lotro.com side. I use two apps on Android -- yourLOTRO and LOTRO Elendir -- that are both able to retrieve information from the character database. I suspect the same is true of the iPhone app (LOTRO Herald, I believe it is called).

Also, perhaps interestingly, I noticed that when viewing my own characters (those associated with my current my.lotro.com login credentials), I can now view the current amount of gold held by each of my characters. That, I believe, is a new feature? New or not, it does indicate that there is successful communication between the website and the character data.

Luckily, this is permanently a beta website, so broken and non-functioning features are to be expected.

Mightily inconvenient, when trying to determine which armor/jewellry to craft on one toon for the other one...

^^ This is soooo true. Sadly, Turbine doesn't even seem the least bit embarrassed by their poorly functioning community site.

After playing SWTOR, I'll take a broken forum site over a completely broken game.

http://lorebook.lotro.com/icon.php is broken. If you right-click and "Open Image in New Tab", you'll end up with a 500 server error.

Protip for Turbine: Your server should be firing email and/or Nagios alerts when 500 errors occur. Just sayin'.

Turbine, will you fix this please. Or at the very least, acknowledge the problem?
