The Company of Thorin's Hall [Laurelin Dwarven heavy RP]

"So Thráin and Thorin with what remained of their following...wandered in Eriador, until at last they made a home in exile in the east of the Ered Luin beyond the Lune." - The Return of the King, Appendix A, Part III Durin's Folk
Within the lands of the blue mountains many evil forces gather and threaten the safety of the mighty halls of Thorin and its surrounding settlements. Orcs, Goblins and Dourhands among others, gather and focus their attention on the roads between these settlements. No longer is it safe to venture far from these outposts of Dwarven civilisation, for only death awaits in the shadows!
Something had to be done; a force worthy of defending the Blue Mountains was badly needed! Sturdy brothers able to wield axes, shields and bows were needed to bolster the defensive ability of those mighty halls. The word would be put forth, muster the brothers of the Blue Mountains, arm and train the young, awaken the warlike ability of the old, sound the drums of battle once again within Thorin's Hall!
------------------------------------------------------------
The Company of Thorin's Hall are a Dwarven only, heavy RP kinship with weekly events and a focus on bringing Thorin's Hall to life with the sound of Dwarven voices! We are a lore-heavy kinship, in that we try to stay as faithful as possible to the work of Tolkien and the Dwarven race he created.
We are seeking:
* mature people (maturity not solely being dependent on age)
* social people (you are a friendly person, not carrying silly prejudices towards other people, love chatting with others, are not afraid to ask for something if you need it, are willing to help other players of the kinship even if there's no loot to be had for you)
* a person that plays a Dwarven character on the Laurelin server (with a name that fits in the lore: no Killerjohn666, and no, even "Bob" is not lore appropriate for your Dwarf)
* a person that shares our love of Tolkien's work in general and of the Dwarven story in particular.

Last night we attended the green dragon tavern as a kin and great fun was had by all! If you seek a tolkien based Dwarven roleplaying kin then look no further!

Kin has been disbanded
When I logged in today I noticed the kinship was disbanded, without a letter, not a word from anybody. I had enjoy the kin greatly but think just disbanding it without even a word why is very poor form. The site seems also closed, stating the kin has been disbanded as well... .
I'm looking for a new dwarven kinship now, one that has a long standing history (so at least this is less likely to happen again).
If anyone from the kin of "The Company of Thorin's Hall" reads this, I would greatly appreciate at least an explination why the kin was disbanded just like that.
Thank you.

Greetings master Abadumin,
It is a shame to hear The company of Thorin's Hall has been disbanded so suddenly, unfortunately I can't offer you any answers as to why it was disbanded. I am sure master Vunar and the kin-officers must have had a very valid reason there. If you are still looking for a kinship, there are many dwarven kinships you can turn to brother. Durin's Folk, the kinship I am part of myself is one with a longstanding history. There are others as well, such as our allies Baruk Khazad or Kibil Dum, to name a few. If ever you would have need of any help brother, do not hesitate to ask.
