I dunno Squelch! With that sexy Scottish accent of his he could have that effect certainly! He just needs to take some words of wisdom from a fellow countryman of his!
No. Only Itzybitzy had this effect, and his accent was that of a God.

Was saying to shak some time ago he reminds me of itzy. where was he from? lithuania? still remember the voice mod he used for a raid to make him sound like "little school girl spider", was hilarious.
Once again nice video, crazy crazy lag last night though. Turbine neeeds to do something about this.
Right after you targeted me in 2.50, follow my char for 20 seconds and you see me lag around! xD

Ah the joy of lagging in raid v raid. Happens a lot on creep when OP LMs pop down ISG *shake fist* there are quite a lot of animations the turbine company could fix to improve performance, maybe next year we can buy the fix with TP :P
Excellent gritty late night fighting. Thanks to both sides; salute to vandogs hero's.

Good spar, Jure. May have been different, but I took a bad approach. Decided not to use a stun pot at the starting stun and didn't use my heals well enough.
You won fair and square though. Was the first time since audacity was introduced that I actually faced a burg that was a threat.

Anyone know when Turbine are planning to fix the creep npc attacking creeps bug? It has been around for as long as I have played in EM (years). Not sure exactly how long, maybe somebody knows how long exactly.

This is regarding a discussion we had in ooc last week, where I claimed Warleaders made more infamy than wargs for a period after RoI came out. Warg at that time was really, really bad, unplayable to most veteran wargs. Many new wargs came up from the deep though. If you've never had pork, you'll never miss it. The veterans had tasted pork and could not do without.
It got especially bad after the first update after RoI, where mitigations were completely screwed up.
Anyways, here's the reasons why Warleader actually made more infamy over an undefined period(not just a few days):
- As good as ALL r8+ wargs except ratty quit early RoI. This ofc influenced the average inf gain as veterans make a lot more inf than newer wargs. (on a general basis)
- Many of these wargs might have peeked in for just a brief moment, like myself, getting a few hundred infamy and then logging. This might have influenced the statistics.
- Warg was horribly, horribly terrible. Along with spiders, they were the class ppl(monsterplayer forum) seemed to agree was the worst one. Consensus.
- I saw it with my own eyes. I checked the statistics thoroughly because I was extremely annoyed at how creep side and especially warg was unplayable to me. (I had tasted pork)
- I experienced it myself. As a warg player since SoA, I've played through good and bad times, but none as horrible as RoI. I had tasted pork.
- http://dailystats.theblackappendage....=Gilrain&d=365 Take a look at the period after RoI came(it came late September). The update came November or something? Anyways, you can see from the data that Warleaders actually had better inf gain than wargs during most of November and part of December. (Click on "Stalker" and "Warleader" to the right of the chart)
So, to all those who mocked and trolled me in OOC for claiming that even warleaders made more infamy(I even had to put two people we all know on ignore because of the massive trolling), I guess I was right after all.

So you can't look safely for spars anymore? Was moving to spar area and few seconds after arriving no one was there and Maximums and Melanin decided to kill me? Wauw.. Where is this community going to..

P2W tends to draw the finest people! Don't blame the community, we are not like that. Blame a certain group of ppl who ruined a peace event and have no respect for anyone, blame p2w.
Anyways, this just means that those two are up for grab next time they spar.

Well, Stoff, WL has and always had less high ranks than warg does. In fact, during most of RoI, there was only one active WL high rank. It would have been either Marak, UG, or me. We have only four individuals who could be counted as high ranked, and have never had more than four high ranks. One of those high ranks is retired, the other is inactive. We have no active WL above R10. Never had more than one.
WL has always been weak. I would say warg has never been weaker (though I do not deny that it may have been severely reduced in strength during RoI) because warg has always been able to make inf to a reasonable extent. WL needs a group to do it fast, no other way to make it at a reasonable speed, unless you are a well ranked and full audacity WL who 1v1's a lot. No such individual exists on Gilrain.
High ranked wargs may have quit during RoI. That does not mean it was the toughest class. If RK's are nerfed, many of their high ranks will flock to the nearest fotm class (though I do not suggest that the warg players did this).
You need only look at the population of both classes down through the years to find out which was more popular. The popularity of each class stems from it's viability.

Maybe one day scientist will find medicine for stupidity so BD will be able to buy it for certain whiny rank 11 warg.

I played my warg occasionally during the period stoff, twas indeed a tough time for wargs.. but moreover for creeps overall. I wasn't particularly regular as I was playing Reaver, but on top of Rat, some very good wargs rose through the ranks. You could still make inf, but you died a lot so was tough. The ones who stuck at it grafted ranks back then and really derserved them.
Personally that was why I chose that period to try and get my rating up to see how high it would go from time to time; because it was bleeding hard at the time. Wargs made less infamy then as a fair few were new and because it takes an environment with dispersed freeps, which there were few of, most freeps were grouped during that period (not necessarily raided up, but grouped, with the exception of champs and mini's who were riding the wave of creep woes).
It was a particularly difficult time to be a creep. Warleaders made a fair bit during the era because creeps were much more inclined to group as times were hard; even BA's were largely grouping so the shared pool was high for warleaders overall compared to wargs who would miss a lot of the kills raids were getting.
As it happens I was mostly playing reaver during the period, which trust me was way way harder than warg and still is. These observations are made from regularly being creepside during the era and at the heart of the action so I stand by them.
