Balance is worse than ever and apparently what Kelsan deems just about right, and the whole commendation system is horrible. Balance and commendations, fix those two and it will be alright to play at least.

Balancing isn't that hard, really. You nerf champions, wardens and minstrels a bit and you've come a long way. Boost reavers a tad(probably a few other creep classes aswell), take away some edge off rk top dps, and voila, you have achieved not balance, but much more balance than what we've got.

Commendation system wouldn't be hard to fix. Either you remove it completely, or you fix a bunch of things. Lower the cost of skills by 90%. Make deeds done in the past give commendations today. VOILA! Commendation system is fixed. Also, look into audacity, it's not a good idea as it is today.

I have no problems bringing down all but the best champs and wardens on my rank 6 warg. Same with RKs. Haven't worked out a suitable rotation for minis yet.

What is your point about nerfing? Should we go out and handicap specific players? Perhaps give those with a higher k/d ratio scaling debuffs?

My point is that simply because you do not know how to deal with freeps is a class in need of a nerf. Learn your class, learn the class you are fighting, and fight intelligently.

I agree with the need to buff reavers though.

If i might ask, how do you deal with wardens? I don't know the class well so don't really know how to combat them.

My experiences so far are that shield wardens won't kill me, but I can't kill them. And spear wardens are close, but only if i use delving pots. Their bleeds really hurt XD.

How it'll work is the $70 is just rohan the areas nad quests to get to the cap, a couple weeks later will feature and update with new instances and raids, which will have to bought in store if F2P even though you just threw down 70 for rohan.

I made no mention of pvmp because obviously there will be nothing in that time frame wait another 2 months after getting rolled by the new and OP freeps on mounts.

No point to fight shield warden unless they are stupid enough to switch stances and not realize they can still get hots in assailment. Remember stances have a 5 second cool down and masteries (double builders, look for the funny symbols above the heads) have a 15. If you can make a warden waste a mastery it really hurts. Just keep them pounced and silenced/disarmed, although you are better off going in shadow so disarm can be tough.

Spear wardens you have to stay in melee, stay behind them (or to the side, minimize their block and parry), and get the armor debuff down. Not that many spear on E right now so it is hard to tell for certain, but most of the dps wardens have much lower mitigation than I do. If you can lower there hit rate and attack speed, do so. Not certain on the nature of higher level warg skills but if you can silence before you disarm so they cannot pot the disarm you will be in good shape. Spear dps is highly dependent upon the tiered bleed gambits hitting and if you can force them to blow one or two masteries on a miss all the better. If they use DC I do not see a reason not to hips and pounce if you miss on a crit. Build for dps, don't worry too much about defense. Bleeds will kill you but not before you get a kill and rallying might be enough to keep you alive if you have it traited.

Learn how your opponent moves. If they are key turners/strafers it will be in arcs. If it is mouse turn they will do a lot of the 360 which will give you a lot of positional. Learn their movement patterns, we all have one. This is been the biggest advantage for me in 1v1s.

Don't bother with shield wardens, as it's a waste of time. As for spear-traited ones, silencing them is very effective since they can't use one of their main DPS gambits. I can win most of the times, unless they use Defiant + NS and there are no rocks/trees to use , in order to kite the warden. I usually run flayer against them.

On topic: Keep it coming, gentlemen.

Silence is worthless unless it is used at the very start of a fight and I would stick to shadow with mastery corruptions.

Edit: The only thing that silence does to my dps rotation is delay US enough to allow me to get 3 in a row, 4 if I hit with defensive strike.

My warden kinmate I'm sparring with declares to be in trouble while silenced , as he has to cancel his main DPS gambit(whatever that is). If I run shadow against him it's a certain loss; I see my morale depleted in 15-20 secs (have R7 audacity).

Interesting. Only thing I can see silence getting in the way of spamming DbD. sp [fi sh] [sp fi], sp [sh fi], sp sh [fi sp]. If I am not silenced at this point sp sh fi [sp sh]. If I am silenced [sh sh] sp [sh sp] sp x2. At this point silence is down and cds are available so [fi fi] sp [sh fi] [sp sh] followed by sp sh sp [fi sp].

Point being that silence will slightly delay my dps but not really decrease the overall amount. Better off not spamming DbD anyways as far as I am concerned. Better damage from WoS, damage reflect, parry. Flayer wargs have always been easier for me to put down. Curious.

Curious.
Well, different players, different builds/rotations I guess. Owning a lvl 41 warden doesn't actually provide me with a benefit to familiarize with that stuff. Wardens are hard to play.

    yep its him alright.

PS: no lousy pvp dev can mess something up THAT bad. none can match the breaking power of ZC!
Any hunter who is unhappy with the class currently is only unhappy because they do not like the adaptions they have had to undertake since the class changed. The defining point in their class role says there's nothing wrong with what the class is supposed to do.

EDIT: Gosh, you hunters really cannot take criticism. I've only EVER received negative rep for stating facts about the hunter class l0l0l0l0l.

Silences are useless against me. I managed to completely remove the fi builder from my rotation just to avoid it.

Flayer disarm, however, is beyond annoying.
