Thread: Cant finish download

This Pondo bandwith steal schme (yes thats what it is) stopped downloading the game at 99% and and was "Calculating time remaining..." for like 4 hours.

I restarted it a dozen times, it stars "downloading" at arround 800 bps says "1 second remaining" and starts droping until it gets to 0 bps and "Calculating time remaining..." stuff.

I have space on disk arround 150 gigs, I had the game isntalled and running but after update 7 it would not go past the character selection screen, and I read somewere arround here the solution was re-installing, any ideas or is this thing just stealing band until it decides I can install the game ?

Anyway as usual with the "free" stuff Turbine provides the customer is again getting the short end of the stick.

I think you're a little confused on what Pando does. Ever used a .torrent before? It's essentially the same thing.

That being said, just download it without Pando. Pretty sure you can do that.

Yes you can, from fileplanet, much quicker than pando, you will have quite a lot to update when the launcher starts but it's more reliable - worked twice for me on desktop & laptop

Oh yes but normally .torrents dont stand arround at 99% unless nobody that is seeding has the remaining 1%.

Dont tell me that the PONDO stuff really is expecting that someone that installed the game be "seeding" it just for the kicks...

As its haf the zise of the High Quality graphics download I think that is the Standard graphics download.

And I'm not really looking for that one.

Oh it's definitely the high res client, I wouldn't have bothered if it wasn't, like I said before there's a fair old chunk of download to do once it's installed but it'll at least work for you as Pando doesn't seem to be.
