I have a level 62 Hunter who just found a crystal. I currently have a 2A bow (crafted, level 60), and a 3A Sword (level 60) equipped. The crystal states that it has a max target level of 65. Would you suggest waiting to use it on a level 65 2A bow, using it immediately, or somewhere in between.
I've read some of the posts indicating that I might expect a boost in DPS and it seems a 2A weapon is a good target. Does it matter if the weapon is already at max DPS? I'm just looking for opinions and information, not a decision.
By the way, I do realise that I am probably lucky to have won this at my level in a solo skirmish. I just don't want to waste it by being hasty. Thanks
why would you bother wasting time or money getting a non cap first age? Use it on a 65 SA bow when you hit 65, cheap and easy to get, but either way you'll wanna swap that bow out at about 70 anyway.
Crystals increase max DPS (basically it roughly increases the lvl of the bow one lvl, so using one crystal on a 65SA will make it basically have the max DPS of a 66SA, if one existed). Crystals also increase rating based legacies.
