So, after countless threads and posts by players expressing their frustration about the state of Ettens, desperate for some feedback from WB/T on improvements to PvP and whether some effort is going to be invested in fixing the place...this is announced:

Been up all night working, so if I come across a bit gruff don't take it personally.

The point isn't that the sale is a direct response, i.e. reply, to large number of complaints that LOTRO's PvP has had for a year or so. The point is that PvP is broken in this game, more so than at any other time in the 3-years I've PvP-ed.

Players from both sides have gone blue-in-the-face trying to get any kind of acknowledgement from the Devs of what, if anything, WB/T are going to do to fix PvP. There have been no responses from WB/T, other than closing/deleting numerous threads covering the state of PvP.

PvP is broken, WB/T will not comment on the state of PvP and discussion of how bad/ly broken PvP is is heavily moderated.

It is the handing of the PvP issue, the timing of the sale, that has beggared my belief.

I usually try to be a bit clearer when I make a serious post, but overtired and need more coffee....hope I kind of made sense.

People have been complaining about everything on this forum for forever, not sure why you think now of all times is different. It's just a sale, they hadn't had a PvP sale in a while. I doubt it has anything to do with complainers.

I'm half-tempted to call you out for quoting out of context. Instead I'll try to clarify something.

I do not believe that the sale is WB/T's response to feedback from Players.

Devs are going to do what they will with pvmp in moors and there isn't a dam thing we can do about it. If there was something that we could've done ,we would've done something about it by now.

I lol'd hard when it said "inflict deadly damage". What creep class (except warg maybe) deals out deadly damage?

Dude! A reaver can crit for a 500 devastating strike against a guardian! That's like 1/20th of their morale bar! Very deadly.
