Hey! Late start to the coffee thread. But better late than never!
LA Kings take Game 1 - sorry Shadow!
In the process of extending the trap line last night, i had a face to face encounter with momma raccoon in the attic. She was protecting her brood and I think we're just going to have to wait them out - once they get old enough to leave then I'll be able to get onto sealing up the attic and attacking the furry vermin problem up there.
But in the meantime we got two more of the little buggers (rats) last night - brings the count up to 5. I hope this actually will allow quest completion and we don't get a whole lot of respawning going on... Hunting the house for other little cracks and openings I can seal up. The hard part is, there's nothing obvious. I think they've followed the raccoons in, so my hands are a little tied until the raccoons leave.
Anyway, I know this isn't appetizing discussion for the opening of the coffeehouse, so I'll go onto other things...
Did anyone see Battleship? I had no real desire to see it, especially after the Avengers.
Anarionadama - did you manage to raise enough to get the Coffeehouse unlocked ingame?
Delaney - good job on the t-shirt order - can't wait to see 'em!
I'm hoping for some good ingame time this weekend.
Might have a few more trips coming up... Camden NJ, Malawi, Prince Edward Island, and / or Surinam. COuld be one or all of them... How's that for an eclectic travel itinerary!

I didn't know there was a fundraising effort to unlock the Leaf and Bean kinship house. I have a ton of gold lying around, so someone just let me know who needs it.
I went to the dentist this morning and came away with half my face frozen. It feels... wonky. I think I'll spend the rest of the day puttering and maybe getting some game time in.

yeah, I think Anarionadama was wandering around the locked TOotLaB kinhouse on the weekend, waiting for any of us to show up! I still feel bad for standing him up!
A couple more potential stops on my itineraries - Prince George (BC), Uganda, Quebec City and maybe a return trip to Lima.
I expect, in all likelihood, a little less than half of these trips will actually happen. But still looks like some more Slamtravel coming up!
And I hear ice cream is remarkably appropriate after a trip to the dentist... might want to wait until you can feel your face first though... Brings images to mind of the time a friend made me snort and guffaw right as I was taking a big sip of a chocolate milkshake... snorting chocolate milkshake through your nose... ohhh that was painful... But at least I gave my friends a good laugh...

Summer movies ... I wouldn't mind seeing the Avengers, though at this point I'm not going to go out of my way unless I really need a break. It'll probably be something I rent later. I do very much want to see Brave when it comes out, though.

I ended my job yesterday. It is now the month of packing and house repair. It's been a busy day, though more of it involved running around than I would have preferred. I do have the moving container and transportation arranged, the U-Haul trailer reserved (which was smart because they normally don't have the size I'll need in the area), and some other details falling into place.
I'm tired already though. My stamina better increase. It doesn't help that it's already disgustingly hot. Ah, well.

Spent the evening playing with my Nephew, taught him how to spin in circles and where the moon is in the sky!
Beyond that, today was simple and uneventful, just the way I like it.
