Thread: Legendary items question

Hi, i'm a level 75 champ. I don't play as often as I used to so this question may seem out of date. I noticed recently that my axe now has the word "upgrades" and 3 small grey stars in the description. What is this and how do I use the upgrades? Thanks in advance.

That is Star Light Crystals upgrades. You can get a Crystal going some of instances. Somwhere there is a long thread on where they drop. Or buy them in the Lotro Store.

The simple explanation of what they do. I let other people fill all the details in. Your DPS legacy on your weapon has three more ranks available. Which can only be activated by applying a Star Light Crystal for each rank. Put three on. Your weapon will hit harder.

Note: Do not bother doing it on a level 75 1st age. The ranks are very close together. You do not get many DPS points per rank.
